Meet Courtney Doll | Chemist, Trauma Sensitive Somatic Coach, Alchemist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Courtney Doll and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Courtney, is there something you believe many others might not?
Red meat is bad.
Conventionally raised red meat is full of antibiotics and growth hormones, and its stressful living conditions produce low-quality meat that contributes to inflammation and bodily imbalance.
Red meat that is grassfed and grassfinished, pasture raised, and humanely treated has more omega-3 fatty acids, which are highly anti-inflammatory and nutrient-dense.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is the combination of science and soul. I’ve alchemized the challenges in my life, like a Crohn’s disease diagnosis at 14 years old and a 10-year-long abusive relationship, into my greatest strengths and superpowers. I want others to know that healing is possible. I use science to explain how to create healing states in the body and transform old patterns of conditioning from our culture and upbringing into our original nature of vitality, joy, and compassion for self and others, cultivating a deeper connection to our soul and divine nature.
My journey wasn’t easy, and I am grateful for every single moment of it, especially the challenging ones. My persistence and resilience, combined with an insatiable curiosity, helped me get through, as I constantly researched and looked for answers until I found the one that most aligned with my goals in health, relationships, and business.
I’ve learned that the most essential part of any growth or healing journey is the ability to sit with difficult emotions and not let them hold you back or stuff them down, because they will find a way to come out, either in emotional explosions or physical symptoms of dis-ease and pain.
I’m here to create a shift in the culture and our view of health and human nature. We live on a gorgeous planet, full of beauty and love, and the more of us that attune to this wavelength, the more peaceful and safe we will all be.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We’d go to the beach for sunset, and then check out the local Kirtan band on Friday night, called Sacred City. Brewed Awakenings is the best spot for Cubanito cold brew and grungy vibes. Then, Sourdough Co. for a sourdough brownie. One day, we would stop at the Imagine Glass Museum to explore the glass art and participate in their incredible scavenger hunt, culminating the trip with a mystery glass animal. You pick a little box out of a bowl with a glass animal inside. You don’t know what it is until you open it, and it almost always turns out to be the exact right thing.
The rest of the time would be spent in nature, participating in beautiful tea ceremonies, and cuddling in a cuddle puddle with my community members during a potluck that happens at my place every Monday. Honestly, there are so many beautiful places, people, and food in St. Pete that we couldn’t get to them all in one week!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Wait…just one person, book, or organization? I am grateful to so many for the guidance and support they have given me on my journey. I’ll go back to my college Chemistry professor, Janet Hunting, PHD. Thank you, Janet, for all the words of encouragement, mentoring, and compassion; without those, I would not be where I am today.
