Meet Craig Ambrosio: Professional Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Craig Ambrosio and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Craig, how do you think about risk?
I think every successful individual has taken risks or done something outside of their comfort. I’ve been a successful portrait photographer working for 20 years. I recently pitched as a concept to a well-known brand doing something I have never done before. I know if the client agrees, I will find a way and successfully produce the concept and learn something completely new. 

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a storytelling portrait photographer specializing in the fitness and lifestyle business. My 20 years plus as a professional photographer has been the most exciting career anyone could ever wish for. It’s taken years to establish myself as a professional photographer and even today, I continue to work hard to grow myself as a person and a professional photographer. My years of experience have taught me to never give up and find new ways to adapt and be different. People hire me to create beautiful images of their brand, but to be successful you must also strive to push the creative level to help your brand stand out.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them on a challenging day over at Virginia Key Mountain Bike Trails and teach them how to ride. The park offers some of the best views of Miami and some of the most exciting trails and hills in the area. I would suggest going camping and kayaking at Everglades National Park. Spending time fishing and enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I like to recognize all the amazing clients who have trusted me to produce their creative vision for them. Most of all my amazing wife, Elena who is my biggest support, love, inspiration.
