Meet Crystal Aceituno | Permanent Makeup Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Crystal Aceituno and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Crystal, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve worked for many million dollar corporations as a customer service and/or sales representative for over 10 years. I’ve always loved helping people but could not figure out how to help them in my own way, and I definitely did not want to help them in the manner the corporations wanted me to. “Sell, even if they cannot afford it.” That’s their problem and I had a big problem with that! In retail, they have this motto, “You are only as good as your last day.” I personally have always despised that statement because what it’s saying is, it doesn’t matter if you’ve invested the last 5, 10 or 20 years of your life into this company, if your results from the last month or two were not up to par, you were on the chopping block and was at risk of losing your job, even if you were around the corner from retirement. It was terribly sad to see collages older than myself being consumed by fear of losing their job if they didn’t increase their results within the next week. I seen this happen way too often and did not want to become a victim of that same pattern. I was ready to get out of the rat race. I prayed to God and said, you know I’m a hard worker but please don’t allow me to work hard at what’s not for me. Please reveal to me what I should be working hard at. After a couple more years of being apart of the corporate world, it was time for me to go. God wanted me to be apart of the beauty industry. I earned my esthetician and tattoo artist licenses and started my beauty career as a Eyebrow Designer and later as a Eyebrow Microblading / Permanent Makeup Artist and Teacher. After 2 years in the industry, I started my very own beauty brand, Brow Behavior. I couldn’t believe God blessed me with a gift I never knew I had and one that gave me the ability to make other people feel better about themselves. Then to top it off, I was also able to create a better lifestyle and a business for myself because of it… it was too good to be true. I still have days where I still can’t believe I’ve made it this far, but I actually have and it’s all because of God’s love and grace for me. Ever since God blessed me with a talent of enjoyment, fulfillment and freedom, I felt it necessary to pass on my blessings in a way that God would be pleased with. To help women not only fall in love with their true selves but also to help them gain financial freedom and no longer allow themselves to be bound by circumstances life throws their way!!!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I provide Permanent Makeup services for clients from all walks of life. I offer Eyebrow Microblading, Microshading, Lip and Eyeliner Pigmentation. I also offer everyday services such as eyebrow waxing, threading and tinting. I truly take my time to ensure the design and color are perfect for both the client and myself. My policy is, if you don’t love the shape and color you see, will not begin until you are. I dedicate myself to ensuring that my clients are totally comfortable and totally satisfied with the service they receive and the way they look. I want the world to know that when you come to Brow Behavior you will enjoy a luxury experience like no other beauty professional you’ve ever had. Your happiness is truly my priority!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I first want to thank God for loving me enough to bless me with such a gift. I’m sooo thankful!!! I want to thank my Mama for always believing in me and supporting my goals and decisions. I also want to thank Antonio from Eyebrow Design Weston for giving me a chance just because he liked my personality even though I had no prior beauty experience. At last but now least, I want to thank Anthony from Comcast Hollywood for always being so rude to me that it caused me to make a change in my mind so that I could make a change in the direction of my life, by the grace of God.
