Meet Daisy | F1 content creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Daisy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Daisy, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
Hi, I’m Daisy, and I am a Formula One fan that shows her passion through journaling! Currently I am still a student, but in the future I would hopefully like to be an f1 journalist. Right now my journal is more of a hobby that I love to share with others, however it is also building up to creating my own personal brand for the future, and starting to build journalist skills that will be useful in the years to come! I am hoping that this will set me apart so I can have better opportunities for my future career and I am super excited to see what the future holds and what may happen. But at the minute I will keep focusing on my studies and continuing to create my journal to the best of my ability in order to maximise my future.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My journal is a way of showcasing my passion for F1 and keeping a bit of its history of the current season for the future- I just think that it’s so cool how I can look back on it in 5, 10 years or so and see what F1 was like in the 2020’s, and how much it may have changed. I haven’t seen many people do it before except from a few so I decided to add to that small number and hopefully inspire others to do their own in the process! It is super rewarding to look at the end results and see how the pages all work and tie together. My journal started off as a hobby, inspired from my love for F1 and art, and now I’m lucky enough to share that with my community- I’m really proud of how far it’s come and also how the journal is looking so far! I’m hoping to work in F1 media and journalism in the future so this is also helping me develop skills that I could use later on. I will definitely be carrying this on for a long time however, I love the process of making the journal and how it’s developing over the season, the current stats, results and big moments of the season- for example driver swaps like Tsunoda/Lawson and Doohan/Colapinto, I make separate pages on these headlines to show how important they were for the development of the 2025 F1 season. I am also starting to make my own journals for my followers, currently I’m producing a mid-season journal that they can fill in about the year so far, then I will also start to make one for next season in a few months time! That way we can all engage with it together and we can all feel more connected as artists and Formula One fans, so I’m really excited to see how this turns out. I can definitely say that it is not easy to keep updating it on time, especially as my studies started to increase and build up towards the end of the year- I realised how much of a struggle it is to work around it all! Now I am on my summer break so I am using it to work on both catching up on my journal and school work, and it’s a lot less pressure at the minute. I will definitely be more prepared for next year! But overall, I am so happy and proud of the work I have produced over the last 8 months or so. I could not have done it without my amazing followers, they give me so much inspiration and motivation to keep it going and are always full of good ideas. I can always count on them to spot any small mistakes I make too haha- which is sometimes a lot, my white-out pen needs replacing soon! It’s okay though, as mistakes make my work more authentic and it’s all part of the process!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
As I’m from the UK, I would obviously go to somewhere like London and go see the iconic places. I personally love the Camden Market area, as there is loads of shops, food stalls, etc and it’s a very safe place to roam around in. Or, I also love the parts of where there is big green spaces- like Hyde Park! It’s always slightly busy but super relaxing to go and sit under a tree and talk to friends or go on a solo date. And of course you cannot rule out places that you go to London for in the first place- Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, etc. It’s a beautiful city and I’m so happy to live near it.
Thank you so much to Shoutout Miami for this interview opportunity! Much love

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d love to give a shoutout to draw.leaaa on Instagram, as she inspired me to start my own f1 journal and document it 🫶 Her art is amazing and definitely worth checking out, and her journal is so inspiring! She motivated me so much to start my own journaling account. Also a huge shoutout to my followers, they are the sweetest and they motivate me so much to do my journal! 🩷
