We had the good fortune of connecting with Dane Drebin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dane, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started my business to give power back to the bartenders of the world. Showing people how to be their own business owner as well as teaching them their own potential. I believe there isn’t a shortage of service industry workers right now due to people not wanting to work. It’s because they aren’t being paid what they are worth. By becoming your own mobile bartending business you set your own wage. The more bartenders I can help find their true potential the better. That’s my mission.
What should our readers know about your business?
We provide bartenders for private events and weddings. We help find local bartenders amazing gigs as well as help our community find hard working honest bartenders. Our goal is to be the premier brand in the bartending world not only in Washington State but across the nation. We are extending our hands into wedding rentals, catering, and music as well. Soon we will be a one stop shop for all things weddings/party related.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in a Gig Harbor Washington and whenever I have friends visit we go to Anthony’s Gig Harbor for a few of the water and top notch seafood. I also have my own whiskey cask at Heritage distillery and it’s fun to do a tasting before taking my kayak out on the water.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The main person in my life that deserves a shout out if my wife Traci Drebin. She always has believed in me before I was making any money doing this. She deals with the long work hours, late nights and even let me fly to Montana to do an event two weeks before the birth of our son Hyland. She is my Rock and makes me who I am.
