We had the good fortune of connecting with Dani Bergman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dani, how does your business help the community?
At its core, Club Allenby exists to strengthen human connection in a world where loneliness and superficial interactions are at an all-time high. We curate intentional spaces – from Shabbat dinners to large-scale Stoplight parties – where people can find friendship, romance, and business relationships that enrich their lives beyond the event itself.

Community Building: We bring together diverse young professionals and creatives who might otherwise never meet, creating a supportive network and community.

Cultural Preservation: By weaving Jewish tradition (like Shabbat) into modern, unique experiences, we help preserve culture while making it accessible and relevant for the next generation.

Global Reach and Local Roots: From Miami to Tel Aviv, Club Allenby is building bridges across cities and cultures, reminding people that meaningful relationships are universal and essential to thriving communities.

In short: we’re not just throwing events – we’re cultivating a movement of deeper connection, community resilience, and cultural pride.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Club Allenby is more than an events company. It’s a matchmaking-driven social club that blends culture, tradition, and nightlife into unforgettable experiences. What sets us apart is that every dinner, party, or wellness activation is designed with intention: to spark real connection. Whether it’s romance, friendship, or business, our guests leave with something more meaningful than just a fun night out.

I’m most proud that what started with me simply loving to throw parties has evolved into a global movement, hosting Shabbat dinners, Stoplight parties, and curated gatherings in cities like Miami, New York, Los Angeles, and Tel Aviv. Seeing people walk away with new best friends, business partners, or even love stories is what excites me most. We currently have one marriage in the books, and multiple couples (that I know of. Remember, I don’t know unless they tell me.)

The road here wasn’t easy. Entrepreneurship rarely is. I’ve faced challenges like negotiating fair deals with venues, building trust in a crowded event market, and growing a membership model that balances exclusivity with accessibility. There were setbacks — events that didn’t make money, logistical hurdles, and the constant need to prove the value of intentional connection in a swipe-right world. What got me through was persistence, creativity, and a belief that people crave community more than ever.

The biggest lessons I’ve learned:

Authenticity wins. People can feel when something is curated with heart, and that’s what keeps them coming back.

Relationships are everything. From vendors to sponsors to members, this business thrives because of strong partnerships.

Adaptability is key. The model has shifted from pop-up events to a brick and mortar, back to a pop-up model, and each pivot made the brand stronger and more sought after.

What I want the world to know is that Club Allenby isn’t just about parties. It’s about spreading Jewish identity, love, and culture while building a community of connection and belonging at a time when the world feels divided and isolated. We’re proof that meaningful community can be created anywhere — all it takes is a little intention, creativity, and the courage to bring people together.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting Miami, I’d want to give them the full experience of what makes this city feel like home to me. We’d start with a morning at the Coral Gables Farmers Market, strolling through the stalls, picking up fresh fruit, and people-watching before grabbing coffee at Novela Café Social, one of my favorite neighborhood spots. No trip would be complete without a boat day out on the water and an afternoon of jet-skiing, soaking up the sunshine and Miami lifestyle. For food, I’d make sure we had dinner at Pastis, which is always consistent and delicious, and we’d spend at least one beach day at Soho Beach House, my go-to place to relax, eat, and hang out with friends. At night, we’d dive into Miami’s nightlife at the one and only E11EVEN, because nothing captures the city’s high-energy spirit quite like it, and it’s truly unique. In between, I’d mix in exploring neighborhoods like Wynwood or the Design District for art, shopping, and cocktails. To close it out, I’d bring them to a Shabbat dinner, because as much as Miami is about the fun and the beach, it’s also about community, culture, and connection, which is what makes the city so special to me.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d dedicate my shoutout to Netflix and the team behind Jewish Matchmaking. Being part of the show gave me a platform I never expected, one that amplified my voice, validated my passion for connection, and introduced me to a global audience. The experience taught me the power of storytelling and how much people are craving authentic connection, both in dating and in community.

What began as me simply loving to throw parties has grown into bringing people together over music, food, and good energy, Club Allenby is a movement that blends matchmaking, culture, and events across cities worldwide. Netflix gave me the visibility and support to take what started as something personal and turn it into something with real impact. Without the show, I might not have had the same momentum to scale this dream into a global community.

I’m also deeply grateful to the people who tuned in, reached out, and resonated with the message. Their encouragement reminded me that what I was building mattered and that connection is truly universal.
