Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When I first moved to the United States, I worked as a construction worker. It was during this time that I met Mr. Gabriel Noda, the owner of a makeup business school, who offered me a position assisting him with student tasks and information. After learning the art of makeup, I received an offer to work as a regional makeup artist for Estée Lauder and subsequently had the opportunity to collaborate with many other well-known cosmetics brands. I also had the chance to work with a prestigious local magazine in Miami called “Selecta,” where I created covers and editorials featuring celebrities.
This journey hasn’t been easy; I left a lot behind—family and friends—following my heart to pursue my dream. However, I found an amazing mentor who guided me and helped me achieve my goals step by step.
I believe the most challenging aspect was learning the language and adapting to the new system. I want people to know that life is beautiful and hard, but you should never give up. Stay strong-minded, keep your dreams alive, and draw inspiration from your own story, as it can be beautiful and inspirational to others.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are many places I enjoy, and if I could take my friends anywhere, it would be to the Redland Koi & Pond. I find this place so calming and inspirational for connecting with nature.
The second place I would take them is the city of Coral Gables. I find this city to be very clean and beautiful. I lived there for over 15 years, and I believe it’s perfect for enjoying a drink and a meal. It has a very classic vibe.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a shoutout to my best friend of 26 years, Gabriel Noda. He has always supported me and gave me the opportunity to work with him when I first moved to the United States. He encouraged me to keep going and helped me channel my issues, allowing me to navigate life in a better way. Gabriel has taught me about patience, care, and respect, allowing me to be myself and create wonderful items with his knowledge and experience.
