We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Lopez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursued a creative career because it is the one venture where all of the different facets of the business don’t feel like work or a drain to do. I wake up invigorated to do all aspects of work because I truly enjoy it

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a hip hop artist who is passionate about the art and uniting the like minded go getters of the world through music. What sets me apart from other artists in my opinion is my creativity. I really take pride in every aspect of my musical artistry in particular my songwriting and art direction. What I’m most proud of is getting a 4 figure check from the release concert of my project “Dojo 2: Vox Populi”. It’s available on all streaming platforms. How I got to where I am so far in the music game is through hard work, determination and the help of others who believe in my vision and want to see me succeed. Too many good people to name but I thanked some of them earlier. A lesson I’ve learned along the way is to not to speak ill on anyone. If I have nothing nice to say I don’t say it for the most part. What I want people to know is that I want to unite the east and west philosophies to develop a new understanding on life. Through understanding is how we grow

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d take my best friends to japan! We’d get some japanese bbq, go to the bape store, Explore not just the major cities but also the countryside. Maybe even chill with some pretty girls on the journey of course haha

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Gonzalo Strangers in Film, My Uncle (a reggae artist by the name of Kehv) Chill Room Kava in greenacres, Soulfam, DJ Renaissance P, Deejay Belly, Dj Alex Gregory, Subculture Group (respectable street etc.) and the NVS Pros production team are definitely the people who come to mind I’d love to thank for my growing success. As well as Arthur Salazar, Froot Lupin, Justin, and Dylan. You guys have supported me since day one If I missed anyone Id just like to say West Palm Beach as a whole just know I’m putting on for us!!
