We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Ortiz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
Your Business/Brand isn’t for everyone. It’s for those who has supported you and is willing to use your creative skills to help others on creating their content.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
So if you haven’t seen my Art, I’m a Video Content Creator, or Filmmaker. I love doing photography, but creating videos has been a special part in my heart, because I’m able to capture something that not everyone could actually see. Telling a story in my own visual way is what I’ve always wanted to do. To leave a Legacy behind. From getting to where I am in my professional position, I’ve had to practice, EVERYDAY. Wether if it’s creating videos for fun, or creating for other clients(cheap or free). My music is still starting up, I haven’t made any income YET, but I’m very passionate to seeing myself live my dreams.
If you want a lesson, id say “Dont listen to what ANYONE has to say, other people are living their lives, so YOU should live yours! The right friends will see you shine and achieve greatness. Just always stay true to yourself and why you do what you do”

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Wow. This is a interesting one because I’m pretty introvert. But I’d definitely would say, I would bring my friend to the beach of course. I live by the Gulf so we have to enjoy one nice sunset. I would introduce them to my friends I’ve made, showing them the talented people I’ve got to experience my life with. I’m not sure what some would say is a good place to eat, I love burritos. I would either go to Moe’s or 3 Peppers. For fun, I’m always about adventuring, so sometimes I love taking spontaneous trips to different cities and see new places with my friends just to make more memories. I’d definitely recommend checking out Poetz Realm event that’s located at CB2 Restaurant & Bar, they have a Open Mic every Monday and I’ve performed there. Kind people, great vibes.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a shoutout to my producer that’s helped encourage me in finding my voice, KevSpeaksTruth is a talented Producer and a Talented Artist himself! Highly recommend. On top of that, are the friends I’ve made with with, Takeoff Burford, Boy Paco, NoConflictKev, and Daze.

For my Filmmaking side, I wanna shoutout to the whole 239 people for supporting me, especially my parents, they knew this job would be a struggle for me, but I never stopped believing in myself and I kept pushing, stayed consistent, and kept creating.
