We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Tintle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, can you tell us about an impactful book you’ve read and why you liked it or what impact it had on you?

“creativity” by John Cleese (actually who I hope to also have on the podcast someday).

John discussed reality and science based ways you can tap into your creative energy (as we all have it, the difference is just who is tapping into it more).

He breaks down psychologist Guy Claxton’s intelligence theory of having two minds: your “Hare Brain” and your “Tortoise Mind.” To summarize (the answer is yes you should go read it – it’s short and to the point), your Hare Brain is referencing the part of your mind that intentionally applies reasoning and logic in problem solving.

While your Tortoise Mind is more dreamy, relaxed, and likes to ask questions and think outside the box. In John’s book, he emphasizes the importance of deliberately allowing ourselves to use our Tortoise Mind first (establish a creative approach), and then use our Hare Brain second – to ensure the creative approach can be applied in reality.

I try to use this method as best as I can when creating content and in problem solving. It’s helped me create my own news show on YouTube where I have my own news contributors help produce content, but with a creative approach to save time and money (example: Journalist George, the best puppet around!)

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

My podcast and news show are designed around “promoting human welfare.” Each guest on my show provides their hands-on experience in how they do so.

I think what sets me apart (slowly but for sure, surely) is providing functionally driven content that helps in solving our world’s humanitarian issues. What does that more simply mean though?

When you listen to my podcast I bring you directly to the important people doing the important things. Non profits, non profits, non profits!

Concerned about the elephants and rhinos going extinct? I’ve podcasted with a non-profit that travels all around the globe in different countries and in deserted parts ensuring extinction doesn’t happen.

Issues like homelessness, suicide, the environment, dating problems, children with cancer, and substance abuse, I’ve podcasted with the non profit or social entreprenuer that helps to fix these issues hands on – even guests that help you with a better sex life!

What you’re getting with No Politics that you aren’t getting anywhere else is a functional approach from a guest who has made it their LIFE in helping to conquer the problem that exists.

For example, one of Miami’s top sex therapists joined me to discuss everything under the sheets. It was “functional” meaning not vulgar or “insert dramatic sex story here for likes and clicks.” It was designed to further build your knowledge about your body, desires and to solve problems that many people have inside of the bedroom (better sex better life!).

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

If my friends were coming to visit what would we do….mmmm, which friends though? HA okay I will give you a one size fits all, how about that?

Beaches: South Beach and Key Biscayne. South Beach for the experience and Key Biscayne for the long beautiful ocean front highways and streets with the ocean on both sides of you like you’re in a tropical paradise commercial.

Brunch (a requirement for the trip): Cafe Bastille in downtown, Yardbird in South Beach and if you are really feeling the “upbeat Miami vibes” then Bacon B*tch (where partying and fun is mandatory) either in South Beach or the one in Bayfront Park.

FTX Arena: I would surely check out if there is a Miami Heat game, concert, or event going on and head there for a night!

South Pointe in South Beach for the open views and possible Manatee sighting.

Jet skiing is another fun option but last and certainly NOT least, 2 words: Naked Taco

Located in the heart of South Beach, not only does Naked Taco have some amazing tacos, they also have a FREE rooftop pool and lounge where you can order drinks and food all while enjoying the pool and ocean view. It’s a great speak easy as they don’t advertise the rooftop really that much so it’s quite the surprise when you arrive.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

Two entities: Politics and the Tintle DNA

I think I’m on a really exciting path that I am so thankful for. I don’t think there is a feeling more fulfilling to experience in life than feeling purposeful – and politics along with the Tintle DNA are 2 big reasons for this feeling. Let me explain.

Politics used to be seasonal – not 24/7, it used to be intelligently cordial – not shouted, and it used to be constructive – not ineffective. Seeing how politics has plagued every social institution from the dinner table to our favorite TV shows, and now even dating apps (swipe left if you voted for _______). The path of politics was to fix what’s broken, not cause more cracks. Politics needs some fixing.

The Tintle DNA

If I could give a little credit to something that I know has been the most encouraging factor in this journey it would be this. Counting the amount of aunts and uncles on my 2 hands would be difficult, maybe if I could borrow your hands as well we could get there. Our communication style is more with our actions rather than in our words. If there is something we feel needs obvious fixing – we tend to step in (it’s in our DNA!).
