We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danielle, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The Most important factor to me with the success behind my business has been Integrity. When you stand and operate with integrity it cause you to be a person of understanding, fairness, morals, value, good character, consistency and dedication. All of these are things that can’t be purchased, but because of it consumers a glad to patronize your business. Success starts the moment you decide to start a business to build a Brand. I made a decision the first day to take every step after with integrity for my brand! When doing business with customers, collaborators, donors whoever it’s important they understand the integrity of your Brand because it’s a reflection you. I feel it aid in giving your business a level of quality and notarity that will help lead you to a successful business over others in the same business sector as you.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I would say being well rounded and multi talented being able to provide multiple services within the beauty field but also crossing over into artistic special affects side.. gives me a wider range to work within different areas; salon, film production, medical prosthetics , instructor, fashion industry. As stated before integrity, hard work, always being eager to learn. I’ve always believed in collaborations and working with others on projects. I’ve gained a lot of experience and wonderful opportunities by adding my skills, knowledge and my artistic creativity to others projects. It was a lot oh hard work, late nights, early mornings, missed functions, years of training and schooling. Knowing my goals and aspirations I had to set myself apart from a lot of things I wanted to do that could take away my focus. I’ve made many mistakes out of being hasty but I’ve also made really good decisions from planning and being goal oriented. My brand originated from going through a really tough time and finding myself through beauty but also I applied it to others. I realized that you perform better, when you look better. So I prided myself on being well rounded and diverse in my brand to be accommodating to those I serviced and collaborated with! To stay updated and flexible with my customers request all while providing exceptional services!
