We had the good fortune of connecting with Danny Bastos and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danny, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
I am a very practical person and professional. I do what I gotta do, As a Mom of Two, a wife, an International Life Coach, Author and Speaker, I know what is important. I prioritize what is the most immediate thing that requires my attention and compromise what I have to, without guilt. I am very straightforward and know how to make decisions easily even under pressure. I do take special care of my family as it is the only only place I am irreplaceable.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a Life Coach, a Public Speaker and author of “How to Empower your Kids”. This book was rewarded with the “Notable of the Year Award”.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would start with Wynwood and Design District. A beautiful day in South Beach, going to Jorge Pérez Museum and the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Have dinner at Loui’s Bossi in Fort Lauderdale or somewhere in the Brickell City.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
It does take a village for us to become who we are. I have to say professionally my Psychoanalyst Patricia Huber, Dr. Wayne Dyer, my husband Alex dos Santos, My mother and father and my kids Liv and Nina who are teaching me more than they will ever know.
