We had the good fortune of connecting with David Carpenter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
My Mentor taught me don’t make life about you, the path to get what you want is to go serve. Success is about finding your purpose and developing yourself into the person you need to be for the purpose. In the purpose you will use your gifts to help serve others with their challenges. For me, it’s about helping protect families and their legacy with life insurance and helping agents break limitation off their mindsets which directly correlates into their bank account. My biggest secret is to go to work on your development and focus on how to help the most amount of people with your gifts.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are a facet of the insurance industry that most people don’t know about, we provide private life insurance benefits to our veterans. I’m most proud of being able to help my family, buy my mom a house, pay off her debts, buy my dad a car and help 20+ people have 6 figures and above a year. Our community is not only focused on money but it’s centered around putting God first, family second and business third. We teach to do things with purpose and with love. I got here today but making a lot of mistakes and getting up as quickly as I could and leaning on God and my mentor Dustin. What I want people to know about my brand and story – I am faith centered and focused on helping people grow in every area of life and how to live an intentional purpose driven life and the story of constant growth.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to explore the beautiful Florida Keys and Coral Gables. The beaches in the Keys are absolutely stunning, offering crystal-clear waters and breathtaking views. After a day of sun and sand, we would head to Coral Gables to enjoy its fantastic culinary scene. The food there is diverse and delicious, making it the perfect spot to end the day.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Dustin Venekamp has taught me to lead with love and integrity, how to remain humble even with a lot of influence and that talent will get you there, but what keeps you there is character . I met Dustin in 2017 and he has taken me under his wing, he gave me a great example of what it looks like to live a life of significance.
