Meet Daźay B | Rapper Singer Actor and DJ

We had the good fortune of connecting with Daźay B and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daźay, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I’ve always been passionate about music and performing ever since I was young so it just made sense to pursue it. I was always very in tune with the arts nothing else really interested me enough to pursue it wholeheartedly.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started making music In high school and just never stopped I went to college for music business In Philly and I learned just to keep working stay consistent and never give up. What sets me apart is that my music is 150% me and I put my soul in my music and really have one of the best live performances for sure. The road was never easy but I’ve enjoyed the journey for sure I’ve performed all over the tristate and don’t plan on stopping

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spots to turn up in nyc is Lebain, Brooklyn Mirage, occasionally Pianos, and Washington square park of course.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family deserves a shoutout, shoutout to my mom my sister and my brother for keeping me motivated if it wasn’t for them no telling where I would be
