We had the good fortune of connecting with Debora Leia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Debora, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
No doubt, it’s staying true to why we created DotMeWell in the first place, meaning helping people feel more balanced, calm, and self-connected in a fast-paced, digital world. DotMeWell was born from our love and pleasant experiences with natural remedies and our belief that wellness should be simple, intentional, and rooted in self-love.
With years of experience in business, branding, and wellness, we knew we didn’t just want to create and sell products—we wanted to create tools that support real people, every day. Everything we make is designed to bring ancient wisdom and modern science together in a way that feels intuitive and nourishing. That purpose guides our every decision, and we believe it’s why people connect so deeply with DotMeWell.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
DotMeWell is a wellness brand rooted in the belief that self-care should be intentional, effective, and simple. We offer wellness tools—like patches, essential oils, waterless diffusers, and sauna blankets—that support emotional balance, mental clarity, and everyday well-being.
What truly sets us apart is how hands-on and deeply involved we are in every part of what we create. We don’t just design ideas, we bring them to life ourselves. We formulated and manufactured our wellness patches from scratch, and carefully developed our essential oil blends and other products to ensure every ingredient and feature has a purpose.
Equally important is how we implement what we’ve learned through deep research, study, and lived experience. We’ve spent years learning about natural healing, delivery systems, and the science behind wellness, combining that knowledge with our personal experiences to develop tools that are practical, meaningful, and actually work.
Building DotMeWell hasn’t been easy. Like most entrepreneurs, we’ve faced obstacles, made sacrifices, and gratefully we learned many things along the way. We leaned on our friendship, our complementary strengths, and a shared commitment to doing something with purpose, it makes the whole difference.
If there’s one lesson we’ve learned, it’s this: when you stay rooted in your mission, stay curious, and lead with heart, you can create something that truly connects with people.
DotMeWell isn’t just a product brand. It’s our way of sharing what helped us, and giving others the tools to care for themselves with a lot of love and intention.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Stroll around Wynwood and get ice cream (any flavor!) at Salt & Straw. Enjoy Japanese food at Matsuri in Coral Gables. Have the best brunch at the Biltmore Hotel

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, a huge shoutout to our families. Their love, encouragement, input, and belief in our mission helped—and still help—us take bold steps and stay true to our purpose.
Our friendship has also been a powerful part of this journey. Before we were co-founders, we were friends who shared a deep passion for wellness, research, creativity, and building something meaningful. That connection gave us the trust and synergy to bring DotMeWell to life together.
We also want to recognize the incredible, very competent chemist and the director at our patch manufacturer. They truly partnered with us—listening carefully and helping us develop exclusive, effective formulations that reflect the heart of what DotMeWell stands for.
This journey has been one of collaboration, care, and purpose—and we’re grateful to every person who’s played a part in it.
