We had the good fortune of connecting with Deborah Singer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Deborah, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Through a collaboration with a very known Swiss company, tide.earth , we collect plastic from the ocean that we transform in pellets and we create molds to replace the semi precious stones in the traditional jewelry by what we like to call “precious plastic”. This reinforce our message of social impact. We buy our chains in Italy in companies that guarantee the recycled silver . We combine all this with recycled paper boxes.
Its our way to help saving our oceans.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our family comes from Mediterranean origins , and we are risk taken entrepreneurs by nature. Since the 90’s that I landed in NY, i have been managing, owning and helping create business that care about people , and about service.
Nothing excite me more than a satisfied customer , and what we call today a repeat customer for me was always one more member of our family , that’s why I see them and that’s how we treat them.
So I’m looking forward to build a strong, durable and amazing family of Jason Hyde.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I will take my best friend to visit Wynwood and design district , and have a little sandwich in Versailles in Calle Ocho to take a full taste of current and past Miami experiences. I will take her/him to one of my favorite restaurant : Mandolin , and then a coffee at the roof top in East Hotel in Brickell.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Its a family business, so the most important people in this business are my family. We are all aligned in this task to create a beatiful, elegant, fashion product that not only enhance people outfit, but also helps clean the environment, and transmit a clear and simple message of sustainability. Those are our family values for many generations, to do business while helping others.
