We had the good fortune of connecting with Delvs and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Delvs, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
I believe self discipline Is everything. It takes a lot to stay inspired and productive everyday, it’s the key to most of my success.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am very proud of my art and how I’ve created my own style. I’ve mixed my passions all into one melting pot of female awesomeness. I want to make people feel something when they see my pieces. My pieces range in styles in colors, and I always try to bring something new to something old. I’m so proud that people can see one of my works and be able to tell it’s mine. To an artist that’s a big deal

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well I usually like taking my friends to Garcia’s on the Miami river. It my all time favorite place to drink and hangout. Music is a big part of my life so I’d deff sneak in a little live music. During the evening I just like walking up and down city streets people watching after a show. There is nothing more fun than watching tourists in Miami.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shout out all the naysayers and men who put me down or belittled me on my journey. I am so thankful for all the obstacles and insults. There is always a ying to the yang. Always a positive for the negative.
