Hi Destiny, Clay’nita, Victor, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting Rebel consisted of a few things , such as risk , commitment , partnership and creativity. For starters the first thing was assembling the team . My partners and co-founders Clay’nita & Vick was the best decision made for it because they were ready to put in work and do it the right way. Next was the risk factor of the business and the pros and cons of going through with it , we created a power point and went over and discussed it a few times , made the necessary changes and that’s how our journey began. We committed ourselves to the steps needed paperwork wise and shortly after secured a location , right now we’re working on renovations and building our social media and plan to open in the summer . Lastly Creativity , it plays a huge part in any business , you have to figure out your consumers and dedicate consistent content to keep them engaged and keep our social media sites updated frequently with content.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are most excited to witness the feedback and interaction with our lounge , we’ve been working extra hard to make major improvements that we think will amaze our customers. Our business is not just a lounge its a brand .. a statement exemplifying our characters as people . We all take pride in following our own steps and rules , not letting society or social media change our thoughts and actions while trying to be the best version of ourselves .

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Daytona Beach in general is a really beautiful place . Starting with the beach , also i would take them to some nice resturants and we will end our days at Rebel Lounge .

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
This whole process has been full of ongoing support between our Bethune Cookman Peers / Friends and family . Firstly , we couldn’t have done any of this without GOD , also our intimate friend circle and lastly our parents/grandparents. We cant thank everyone enough for the support that we constantly receive on and offline .
