Hi Devonta, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?

For my brand KING DENMARK, I truly wanted to create an inviting space for people who just want to “Game” and “Have Fun!” The brand invites people across the world where the community can discuss different topics and battle it out on ONE livestream and have a ball! For Royalty Travel Design, I really wanted to build a company that will provide ANYONE with the ability to travel to their favorite destinations WORLDWIDE while receiving exclusive travel rates saving over hundreds and even thousands of dollars.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

Acting for me has always been one of my favorite outlets throughout my life. Since grade school, I participated in a local acting club, and I knew I had passion for it! Since then, I’ve been featured in the series finale of The CW’s Legacies, FX’s Kindred, and Peacock exclusive “Praise This” featuring Chloe Bailey. If anyone wants to get involved in the film industry , I highly suggest looking up casting calls on social media. Sometimes you’ll be surprised on what roles you can find! On the other hand, being an Entrepreneur has been just as rewarding for me. Managing and operating a travel agency and a successful Youtube channel has allowed me to connect with people worldwide! Being my own Boss has taught me the importance of ownership, time management, and consistency. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When my friends stop by, we love to go to The Battery where we can get a quick bite and our favorite drinks. I’m definitely the foodie type so I love anything Mexican, Seafood, Japanese, etc. After that, we love to go to the city and explore what Atlanta has to offer. Whether it’s getting drinks at Ponce City Market or lounging at a hookah bar, it’s always something interesting to do in Atlanta!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to first thank God for allowing me to be in the position that I am today. I want to thank my incredible boyfriend, you have pushed me so much to become the person that I am today. Your patience and guidance is what fuels me to wake up everyday and handle these businesses everyday. I want to send my love to the KiNGDOM for always supporting KING DENMARK since day one. I’ve been building my brand for years in advance and since I’ve started in 2021, everyone’s support has been extremely overwhelming and I’m truly appreciative of the support that’s been giving to me.
