Hi Diana, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Being Independent was the key component in starting my own business.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
A Wise Choice Entertainment was established in the 20th Century. With all the Research, Wisdom & Guidance that has been endured within the Company we have come to terms that there is nothing we want more is to see people enjoy themselves, We specialize in Entertainment Consulting, Promotions, Marketing, Artist Management, Event Planning, & Travel Consulting you can book your travels at A Wise Choice Enterprises, https://awisechoiceenterprizes.inteletravel.com/booktravel.cfm. as you can see we can can assist you with different areas of the entertainment field, from booking travel to Organizing any event from Concerts to Girl Trips. Running a company isn’t easy, you have to go through trials and errors, losses and gains in this Industry. I had a lot of losses but I never gave up. I picked up the pieces and continued on. I was homeless & lost everything but I still didn’t give up, giving up isn’t  a part of my vocabulary. I want to see everyone win, including myself. I overcame my losses by praying, staying busy and focusing on my next project and never giving up. We love to hear what sets you apart from others ?
What sets A Wise Choice Entertainment apart from others is our dedication to making sure that everyone has wonderful experience and that begins with making sure that the Artists or anyone we deal with are well taken care of and once that’s done the Artist or whomever will go above and beyond to make the event a success.
2)What are you most proud of or Excited about ?
I’m most excited about the future. Looking back to April 2013 when my Husband at the time & I started AWCENT (A Wise Choice Entertainment, LLC). I know and I can see that this is just the tip of the Iceberg for A Wise Choice Entertainment.
3)How did you get to where you are today business-wise? Was it easy and if not, how did you overcome the challenges?
It’s God, persistence and perseverance that got me where I am today. No it wasn’t easy and I felt like giving up a lot of time but my spirit wouldn’t allow me to quit and my friends who believe in A Wise Choice Entertainment sometimes more than me. So I want to give a shout out to everyone who wouldn’t allow me to give up.
4)What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way?
I’ve learned that you have to roll up your sleeves and get totally involved with your business because no one can really see your vision as clearly as you.
5)What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story? I am a Far Rockaway, Queens ,New York native, West Indian Descent (Saint Vincent & the Grenadines) Raised in West Palm Beach, FL Black Female Entrepreneur raised in a single parent household that made her vision a reality. Went through Trials and Errors and never gave up. My Motto is to walk out on faith because if you don’t try to make your dream a reality how would you know if it will ever flourish!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was ready to turn up in Sunny South Florida I will take them out Monday @ Blue Martini Brickell , Tuesday, we will head to Hollywood Blvd Rocco’s Tacos then to @ Thirty 1 Lounge to catch Black Bottle Belaire Comedy Night w/ Hosted by Comedian Larry Dogg, Wednesday a day in Wynwood Lunch @ Dukunoo Jamaican Kitchen & Dinner reservations at Victory Restaurant & Lounge Thursday, Topgolf later head to Studio 183. for R& B Throwback Thursday in Miami Gardens, Friday Happy Hour at Dave & Busters @ Check out the New Improv in Dania Beach, Saturday Daer Dayclub @ The Hard Rock & Casino Hollywood, FL. Sunday, Stroll down Ocean Ave and have brunch @ Mango Cafe, later that evening Hit Club LIV for the best nightlife on South Beach.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Trusting God’s Divine Plan, I find myself reading the Bible as an escape from the world. My mentor was my mother, the late Vivian Leonora Jackson, I promised to make you proud. She taught me not just to work hard but she also taught me proper etiquette and she will always say your 1st impression is your best impression. My Non- Profit Organization Women Making Positive Change, Inc. My organization is committed to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. www.wmpcinc.org, Just last week I helped a young lady from the streetlife and she arrived back home safely to her parents in Alabama. I would like to give a shootout to God, My colleague Gary Moore, God Sister Tara Rousseau, Cousin Sean Allick, Charles Newkirk, Antoinette Williams-Gordon, Geneva Miller,Tonia Jackson, Anton McCarthy My Love & HIP Hop reality clients Mrs. Deborah Bryant “Momma Dee “, Brisco, Miss Clemie Shaw “Ms.CeeCee”  for pushing me to the limit & always believing in me when I find myself lost on making my next move my best move. Also my mentor Mr. Leonardo Bennett from The FUNKFEST for introducing me to the outdoor concert tour life.
