Hi Dina, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
As a mother, teacher and achieving and maintaining work-life balance is vital for my well-being. Over time, my work-life balance has certainly undergone changes and adaptions. As a mother, teacher and real estate agent, each role comes with its own set of demands and commitments. Initially, finding balance among these roles has been challenging as I navigated the demands of work and family life. However, with experience and learning, I have discovered strategies that have helped me approach work-life balance in a more intentional way.

One key aspect is prioritization. I have learned to identify and prioritize what truly matters to me in each role and focus my time and energy accordingly. Setting clear boundaries and learning to say no when necessary has been crucial in maintaining a healthy balance. I have learned to be mindful of my limits and make choices that align with my values and overall well-being.

Flexibility is another important aspect of achieving work-life balance. Recognizing that there will be times when one role requires more attention than the others. This me involve delegating task, seeking support from my loves ones or colleagues and being open to adjusting schedules and commitments when necessary.

In addition, self-care plays a key role in maintaining balance. Taking care of the physical and mental health is essential as it allows me to shou up fully in each of my roles. Finding activities like exercise help to recharge and rejuvenate me. Simply spending quality time with loves ones, helps restore my energy and maintain positive mindsets.

In the end, achieving work-life balance is an ongoing journey that requires continues evaluation, adjustment, and self-reflection. It is about finding harmony and satisfaction in all areas of life while recognizing that balance may look different for everyone. By actively prioritizing, being flexible, and prioritizing self-care. I strive to create a fulfilling and balance life that allow me to excel as a mother, teacher, and real estate agent.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Being able to help people is what brings me the greatest pride as a teacher and realtor. As a teacher, seeing my students grow and succeed, and as a realtor assisting families in finding their dream homes, fills me with the immense joy. Making a positive impact on people’s lives. whether in education or real estate is incredibly rewarding. Helping others achieve their goals and witnessing their happiness and success is a constant reminder of why I extremely enthusiastic about what I do.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Los Olas is my absolute favorite place to eat and drink. Unlike the crowed South Beach, it offers a variety of activities making it a one-stop destination. From dining and shopping to bar hopping, you can find everything you need in one place. If you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, there are art galleries and peaceful sidewalk cafes to enjoy.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
A heartfelt shout to my amazing third and fifth grade teachers who ignited m passion for teaching and later inspired me to pursue a career in real estate to help families. They believed in my potential even when I did not believe in myself. Their dedication and believe in my potential shaped the person I am today. They poured life into me and instilled in me the love and learning and the importance of making a positive impact in everyone’s lives. Now, as real estate agent, I am grateful for the foundation provided. allowing me to help families find their dream homes and create cherished memories. Their influence extended beyond the classroom, and I am honored to follow their footsteps, making a difference as they did for me.
