We had the good fortune of connecting with DJ Infinit and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DJ, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Honestly, I think this path chose me as much as I chose it. I was raised around music, so it was always part of my world, but beyond that, it feels like a calling, something I can’t ignore. There’s this inner voice that constantly pushes me to create, whether it’s crafting a simple melody, layering complex productions, or blending tracks in a way that transforms a set into an experience. Creativity has always been my outlet, my way of making sense of everything. Even through life’s hurdles, music was the one thing that kept me grounded. It’s not just what I do, it’s who I am.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart in this world of music is my ability to merge and manipulate sounds in ways that most people wouldn’t even imagine. I love taking two or more ideas, blending them together, and creating something so unique that you wouldn’t even recognize the origins of each element. I like to think of myself as a ‘ninja producer’, a master of surprise. It’s about pushing boundaries, exploring what hasn’t been done yet, and always staying one step ahead. That’s the core of who I am as an artist: I want to stand out by being the one who takes risks and dares to be different.

Hard work, determination, and, above all, a humble energy while networking have been crucial in getting me to where I am today. But one of the most important lessons I’ve learned along the way is to eliminate the fear of failure. If you let fear hold you back, it’ll cripple your growth. I’ve always believed in pushing the envelope and not letting anyone’s version of ‘normal’ limit my vision, hence the name ‘Infinit’ because the possibilities are endless.

I’m really proud of how far I’ve come, from unexpected festival bookings and major concerts to getting the chance to play at local lounges and clubs that are the heartbeat of the scene. To me, each booking, big or small, is a recognition of my hard work, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be considered among others in my field.

Was it easy? HA! Absolutely not! ‘Easy’ isn’t a word in the dictionary of ambition. Nothing in this field comes without a hustle, constant challenges, and roadblocks at every turn. But that’s part of the grind. Each setback has taught me something valuable, how to learn, grow, and adapt. And when the roadblocks get in the way, I just build a better path, and when others take note and follow, it’s all part of the journey.

If there’s one lesson I’ve learned for sure, it’s that expecting the unexpected is the key to overcoming any challenge. In this industry, things are always changing, so being adaptable and willing to take on the unexpected has helped me stay relevant and keep evolving.

My brand is all about growth and evolution. It’s not about staying stagnant, it’s about adapting and staying ahead of the curve. I take what works in the scene and build upon it, adding my own unique twist to push things further. Whether it’s my sound, my performances, or my approach to connecting with fans and peers, I’m always looking to innovate and create something new that people can vibe with

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Its funny I actually have a true story about a friend recently who came to Miami for the first time and wanted the full experience so this is the actual itineray and conversation for that week.

If You’re Coming to Miami with me, pray… haha

Alright, so it’s your first time in Miami, I’m not letting you do some basic touristy nonsense. You’re rolling with me, which means you’re getting the real deal, luxury, energy, and a little bit of madness. This city moves fast, and we’re keeping up.

Day 1:
First things first, we hit South Beach. Not just for the views (which new york does not have), but because Miami’s energy starts here. ocean breeze, coconuts, and maybe a little flex with some jet skis.

After we clean up, lunch is at Komodo, Asian fusion, crazy good Peking duck, and a spot where you never know who you’ll run into. Once the sun dips, we level up with dinner at Sexy Fish, insane decor, wild cocktails, and a vibe that feels straight out of a movie.

But you already know we’re not calling it a night. We’re hitting Club Space, the one spot in the world where the party doesn’t stop. Literally. We might walk out at sunrise, but that’s the point.

Day 2:
No sleeping in, we’re starting the day with brunch at Cecconi’s in the Design District. Classy, chic, and a solid way to recover from the madness of last night.

Then, we’re taking a private yacht (compliments to J Cruisin Mia Charters) around Star Island. You wanna see how the millionaires live? This is it. Views, champagne, and that feeling that you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

As the sun starts setting, we make our way to Kiki on The River, where dinner turns into a party real quick. And for the grand finale? LIV. If you know, you know.

Day 3:
We’re starting this one a little slower, Wynwood Walls for some street art, photos, and a chill stroll before the madness continues. Lunch at Swan, a celeb favorite where the food is just as good as the people watching.

By night, it’s time for something special, Papi Steak. This isn’t just dinner, it’s a statement. The gold tomahawk steak, the energy, the exclusivity, it’s all Miami in one room.

Then, we head to Dirty Rabbit, where, guess what? I’m on the decks. Nothing like experiencing Miami nightlife with the DJ himself curating the whole vibe. Expect a packed house, wild energy, and a night you won’t forget.

Day 4:
Time to reset (kind of). We hit Strawberry Moon at The SLS for an exclusive pool party, cocktails flowing, beats pumping, and an elite crowd.

After, we switch things up and head to Astra, a rooftop spot where I also DJ. Picture the perfect sunset view, incredible food, and me spinning the soundtrack to the night.

Later, we go lowkey but still VIP at BOHO House, a members-only lounge where the crowd is elite, the energy is just right, and the night can go anywhere.

Day 5:
Since we’re closing out the trip, we’re going big. If the Miami Heat are playing, we’re courtside. If not, we’re hitting the water, speedboats across Biscayne Bay, full throttle, pure adrenaline.

Dinner at Zuma, one of the best Japanese spots in the city, and for the finale? We’re wrapping it all up at Mango’s South Beach, where, once again, I’m DJing. Live music, dancers, nonstop energy, an absolute Miami classic.

This is Miami done my way. A mix of high energy, exclusivity, and nights you’ll still be talking about years later. It’s not just about where you go it’s about how you experience it. And trust me, this is the only way to do Miami right.

I will say my friend left Miami in a metaphorical body cast recovering his way back to the rotten apple, but is currently listing his home for sale to move down to Miami.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Man, there are so many people who have played a role in my journey, but first and foremost, I have to give a huge shoutout to my dad, ‘Kuriaki’—a true legend and an original breakdancer for the Rock Steady Crew. He was a massive influence on my love for music, and his passion still fuels me today (may he rest in peace). My mom was also a singer, so music was always in my blood.

Beyond that, I’ve been lucky enough to cross paths with some incredible people—legends like K7 of TKA, Rayvon, Wyclef Jean, DJ Dennis Da Menace, and Tonio Skits. Each of them, in different ways, has inspired me, dropped knowledge, and pushed me to keep evolving, whether through motivation, game-changing advice, or just real, genuine support.

But at the end of the day, Jesus is the pilot of this journey. Through every high and low, every win and setback, He’s been my foundation. I wouldn’t be here without His guidance.
