Hi Dominique, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
Yes, I can! It’s “Remain in an attitude of Faith and keep trusting God to do what’s best!” I recite this affirmation to myself whenever I find myself in a situation when things aren’t going accordingly to plan & ultimately if I’m worrying that means I’m not exercising my Faith! To me, it means that although I may not understand what God is doing in that moment, I trust that it will work out for my good according to his will for my life!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a creator. My passion is creating. For as long as I can remember I’ve been into crafting! Lol seriously, it’s what I do! It started with me making items for myself, whether it be a gift for someone or just an item for my kids because I wanted to “try it out”. People would see it, love it, and request it. My customers motivate me more than they know! It’s the inquiries I get that literally say “I didn’t see this item on your page (Instagram) but I know you can do it” for me! It’s like they have more faith in my work than I do, but that’s what pushes me to keep going! Is it easy? Nope! It’s time consuming, it’s hard work, it’s learning new programs/methods, it’s networking, but after you realize you’re capable, it’s so worth it. The biggest lesson that I’ve learned along the way is slow progress is still progress. What I want the world to know about my story is that my passion speaks through every item that I create.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The beach!! Staycation shall we? Call me simple but in my opinion there is nothing more refreshing than being on the water. I’ll be first in line getting waffles made for Brunch at shooters, we’re going parasailing, jet skiing, & eating anywhere that has seafood! The possibilities are endless lol! Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My Husband! No matter what idea I come up with, how scattered my brain is, how long I’m rambling about a new idea or something I want to try, he is always there with a listening ear, either ready to back me up or put my ideas into perspective which helps me think clearly. Since day 1 he’s respected my determination, and has invested and supported me wholeheartedly.
