Hi Dorita, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
officially I have a degree in public accounting, painting has been my great passion, however I always kept it in the background, until 5 years ago, where motivated by a health problem, I decided to share my passion, my paintings with the world, for I started my artistic endeavor through instagram
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Español Inglés My art is original, cheerful and colorful. I don’t like to follow stereotypes. I think I have not “arrived” yet, I keep learning, I keep creating. He faced challenges on a daily basis, in this moment i live in Venezuela, and the “day to day” is very complicated, we have serious problems with public services and the economy / politics is extremely unstable, so I face them with faith, hope and optimism. I have learned that life is very short, and we must make the most of it, with great joy. I want people to know my artistic proposal, feel happy and optimistic, and even for brief moments, forget about their daily problems, to disconnect
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Without a doubt, the Miami Beach area is my favorite, with its beach, and all the restaurants and night spots where you can have a great time, in the company of friends
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Without a doubt to my husband, who from the beginning has supported me, both financially and with his words of support, always motivating me to move forward, regardless of obstacles. He is my anchor.
