Hi Dot, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
“Be brave enough to live creatively. The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. When I set out on my life adventure this quote gave me the confidence to know that leaving everything behind , my home, my friends, my life to discover something new across the pond in another country was the only choice for my creative soul. It was a chance to allow me to find myself and let me be truly me.

I learned that when you seek to find and discover yourself – you allow yourself to actually BECOME you. Becoming your self is a lifelong journey of the good, the bad, the ugly. Seize every moment , put yourself outside your comfort zone and carpe the fuck diem. YOLO

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Most of my life growing up in coastal Souther California in the 80s and 90s I was ashamed of my Taiwanese heritage because I grew up in a predominantly white affluent neighborhood. I was mostly ashamed of the way I looked. I never ever planned to be in front of the camera – for most of my career I work behind the scenes for agencies in US, Spain, Hong Kong, and Israel. But when I decided that personal branding was a short cut and the future of marketing – I finally owned my Asian heritage and made use of my family name “Lung” which means dragon in Mandarin as part of my personal brand , Mother of Social Dragons. As soon as I decided to show my Asian face and my personality on social media everything changed for me. We sold over 150,000 courses on Domestika, I was being invited all over the world (30 countries and counting) to keynote and teach workshops. My business really exploded when I decided to own who I am and where I came from. I never experienced anything so empowering and decided to teach more business owners how they can leverage personal branding and social media for their mission. I love empowering others to make their dreams come true and especially help creative people take over the world. Together we can make magic happen!

Would this be in Miami or Barcelona or Tel Aviv? Any city you come visit me you’ll find me at the Soho House. That’s where all the fun is happening 😉

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mom is my inspiration, she is the reason I do what I do, she is my WHY, she has always been my purpose. She’s the most fearless woman I know and her independent spirit is the blood running in my veins. Although most of my life we’ve have had a difficult relationship, I couldn’t be the person I am today without her.
