We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr.Bobby Thrush and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr.Bobby, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process behind starting RECVR is to create a place where people can get better and connect with their higher selves. As a former collegiate basketball player, I lacked a full support system to help me succeed, but have a soft spot for helping people who need it. I made a promise to myself to help the community with cutting edge techniques, talented staff at every position, and a great place to support our community in there own journey.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
RECVR Lounge is a disruptive subscription model because it’s high quality, value packed, purpose driven, and community oriented. Our team is dedicated to shifting the world’s mindset from healthcare to WellCare. That means our impact on the community is to become prevention based. We have attracted many notable athletes, entrepreneurs, and celebrities to join our movement like : Noriega, Jordan Belfort, Matt Morgan, Devlin Defrancesco, and DJ Stevie J. It was not easy to get to this place of notoriety, but the RECVR team moves with purpose first and profit second. I learned this by studying notable entrepreneurs like Chamath Palihapitiya and Elon Musk to really make a change in peoples lives through your work. I want the world to know that RECVR Brand is a message to always strive to be better and that’s why we say “Better Recovery, Better Performance” because you can always be a better version of yourself.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When I have friends and family in town I usually take them to some key spots. I definitely take them to BOXR gym to get an incredible gym experience, which include boxing, basketball, CrossFit, and exclusive Blendz nutrition. If it’s a Saturday I definitely will take them to the coconut groove farmers market and experience the hidden gem, Luu’s Pho 4 U, because they have the best Asian-Haitian Vegan food in town! Lastly, I definitely would see the best show in the world at LIV with DJ Stevie J headlining LIV on Sunday!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate this shoutout to Dr. George Saliba for always pushing me to be better and be the best version of myself. Without the crucial conversations of striving to be better and mentorship it would be easy to say there isn’t Dr.Bobby.
