We had the good fortune of connecting with Dudly Etienne-Harvard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dudly, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
When you mention construction, everyone thinks of hard labor. In reality, construction consist of so many opportunities. We have field personnel’s, office personnel’s, an operational team, human resource, consultants and so much more. Another thing outsider are not aware of when it comes to the construction industry is the amount of women we have in construction and they are really kicking butt in construction.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

At Dudly’s Professional services (DPS), we provide Strategic Outreach, Construction Administrative Support, Project Control, Permitting and Technical Services. With all work we approach, we add a splash of Creativity, Vigorous and Innovation. We like to think outside the box. In construction that is unheard of, but we push it anyway. I stand behind my ideas and they always come to life. The journey was not easy. Just know there is no easy way to the TOP! I did not land my first REAL contract until 5 years within business. It takes following up, do what you say you will do, personal growth and simply being yourself. You will not lose.

Here at DPS we are always looking for other businesses to work with, especially small businesses. Please email us at admin@dudlyservices.com or follow us on Instagram. Let’s connect.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When friends visit I absolutely LOVE to host! I cook and make sure they are at ease. I’m a baby vegan; vegan spots will be hit first, I mean real good vegan food. First stop will be Treelion in Miami Gardens, Florida. Matter a fact we will hit that location a few times out the week. Next will be Vegetarian Restaurant by Hakin, located in the North Miami Beach, Florida, everything on the menu is great, my husband even loves his food. After a good fill up, I’ll drive my friend down to Dania Beach, Florida for the Mapleberry Tea experience (you will thank me later). If my friend is not ready for the vegan life, I’ll take he/she to my favorite Haitian restaurant called La Belle Monique, located in Plantation, Florida. Finally, at night we will go for drinks at Blue Martini located in Sunrise, Florida. The people are great at Blue Martini and the drinks are AHmazing!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give Ann McNeill a shoutout. She taught me how to recognize my “Why” when I first moved back to south Florida. She placed me in a position to win. She was a mentor and my boss at one point. Also, I would like to give a shoutout to my husband, Malcolm D. Harvard and sister, Aisha Paul-Etienne; their support is unmatched. If I wanted to be an unicorn, they would support it (lol).
