Hi Durid, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success and the success of my real estate brand in Florida is my unwavering commitment to my clients and my belief that our true purpose is to help others achieve their dreams. This mindset was deeply influenced by my parents. My father, a well-known businessman in Syria, taught me the fundamentals of business, while my mother instilled in me the values of positivity, mindset, and the importance of helping others and always do good deeds in the world.
In the Florida real estate market, particularly in South Florida, I am dedicated to providing exceptional real estate services and ensuring that my clients’ needs are met with the highest level of care and expertise. My journey to where I am today has been filled with challenges, moving from Syria to Dubai and finally to the USA where I have settled over a decade ago. Each step required resilience and a positive mindset. These experiences have enriched my understanding of different markets and honed my problem-solving skills. I firmly believe that challenges are opportunities in disguise, and this perspective empowers me to overcome obstacles effectively.
I’ve helped many buyers achieve homeownership without the need of spending years of preparing and saving for a down payment and also assisted homeowners in selling their homes when they thought it was impossible after a bad experience with a previous realtor.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that true success comes from serving others. I never see my clients as just a paycheck or a transaction. I treat them the way I would want to be treated. My goal is to help my clients achieve their dreams and success, knowing that only by doing so can I achieve mine.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Planning a week-long itinerary truly depends on each family’s style and needs, but here are some of my favorite tips and insights from my own experience in the area:
• Beach Day: For a fun day on the beach with my family, I usually visit either “Fort Lauderdale Beach Park’s Playground” or “Osprey Pavilion” in “Dania Beach.” Both of these spots are family-friendly with easily accessible parking, public bathrooms, and grills and tables for picnics. Just bring your food, drinks, and charcoal if you want to grill.
• Ocean Adventures: When it comes to enjoying the ocean, I prefer heading to the Marina in “Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach.” Here, you can rent a boat and head offshore for some sport fishing thrills. If fishing isn’t on the agenda or the sea conditions aren’t ideal, we take the boat to “Fort Lauderdale Sandbar” or cruise through the “New River,” enjoying the beautiful scenery and dining at one of the many great dockside restaurants. For larger group trips, the “Jungle Queen Riverboat” at the same marina offers fantastic activities and tours.
• Shopping and Dining: For a great mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment, head to “E Las Olas Blvd” (Fort Lauderdale Downtown), “Las Olas Oceanside Park,” and “S Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd.” These areas offer a vibrant atmosphere with plenty of options for everyone.
• Kids-Free Hangout: If you’re looking for some kid-free time, even with them on the trip, “Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park” is perfect. You can leave the kids there for the day and pick them up in the early evening.
• Wild Experiences: For an exciting adventure, a visit to “Everglades Holiday Park Airboat Tours and Rides” is a must. It’s a unique experience that’s both thrilling and educational.
• Favorite Eats: If you’re in the mood for Falafel, Hummus, and Vegan food, “The Hummus House” in Fort Lauderdale is a must-visit. For those who enjoy Shawarma, Kabob, or Mediterranean Grill, “Shawarmaz Mediterranean Restaurant & Grill” is the place to go.
These are just a few of my favorite spots that offer a mix of relaxation, adventure, and great food, ensuring a memorable experience for families visiting the area.
