Meet Elisa Gordon | Owner of Elisa the Neat Freak, organizing services.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Elisa Gordon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Elisa, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
When I became a mom, it was important to me to do something professionally that could cause a proud feeling for my daughter, Emilia. I wanted to do something that fulfilled me and to show her that it is possible to do something you love while impacting your community and also her own future. Helping others, and sharing love is the ultimate lesson I want her to take away from me and my business.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets me apart from others is the fact that I tailor my organizing systems to my clients specifically and plan these systems ahead of time. The reaction that my clients give me when I have completed a project is what drives my excitement for work and makes me proud to be in the profession, I am in. Something that is simple to me may be significant to my client and knowing that I made an impact in their day-to-day life is satisfaction enough. I worked a 9-5 my whole life and it was never fulfilling to me. I have always loved organizing and I started on the weekends until I was working 7 days a week and it wasn’t sustainable anymore. I finally took the leap, and Elisa the Neat freak LLC was born. It has been an uphill climb every day growing my business, an “easy day” is not something I have yet to receive. I learn every day and I overcome challenges by trusting tasks to others as well. I have learned that you can’t do everything by yourself. It takes a village to raise a child and growing a business is no different. I want the world to know that there is always a way to take control of your life, to live better, to live with less. And that it is possible to grow from zero when you are honest, believe in what you do, and never give up.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For food and drinks, a favorite spot of mine is Utiki in Jupiter, FL. You can never go wrong with a trip to Juno beach and a stop in at the Loggerhead marine life center for some educational fun for the kids!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband Ryan, who has been my number one through it all
