Meet ELIZABETH INCIARTE | Fashion & Lifestyle blogger

We had the good fortune of connecting with ELIZABETH INCIARTE and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi ELIZABETH, how do you think about risk?
If we don’t take risks we don’t fail. If we never fail (which is impossible), we never learn and this is the meaning of life to me. Risks are a good thing for me. You always learn something of value. 6 years ago I took the biggest risk of my life not knowing the future or consequences but I felt I needed a change and I left ALL MY FAMILY and friends in my country Venezuela, to move to another country and try to built my life as an independent woman. I was supposed to move to Argentina and my first stop was Miami where I had planned “have fun for a week and then go” but my planes changed and I took another big risk staying here and trying to make my life here. A day before my flight, I called the agency and postpone my flight. I stayed here in Miami, started looking for a job, found 2 jobs the same week and started to work hard. HARDER THAN EVER to build my dreams. I was working in a Mexican restaurant from 9am-4pm and then in a Japanese restaurant from 5pm-1am I’d get home. I started to take English classes in the Miami Dade college at 7am (to go to work after) to try to improve my English so yeah… that first year built the person I am today. Taking risks I gained confidence. I made money and pay for my won bills. I bought my first car with the money I saved, rented my first apartment and bought all the furniture myself, pay for my immigration paperwork, lawyer, traveled and more with my hard work. So… yes I was extremely proud and happy with the risk I took. I met mu husband in the Mexican place I was working when I had 4 months in this country and here we are, almost 6 years after. Married, with a beautiful son, with the house of my dreams and with 2 jobs I love. I work as an accountant and also as fashion/lifestyle blogger and content creator for brand I never imagined I’d worked with.

What should our readers know about your business?
Being a blogger is so much more than people thinks. Is not only about taking pictures and writing about something we like, No. For me is about inspiring, educate, motivating and connecting with others. When I decided to start this journey, I wanted to be different. I didn’t want to share only a picture of my outfits and that’s it. No. My vision was to empower others to love themselves in every stage of their life and love their body in any way and that’s were my personal #notjustanotheroutfit comes from.
I like to show others we can do whatever we want and we can look good no matter or body type, race or shape. How? I’m a new mom who has a full time job as accountant and is also full time content creator, I’m a wife and also the one who takes care of my house without help. So yes, If I can do all that why you can’t? There’s always time for us and for our dreams. We just have to be persistent and organize our life and our goals.
Of course it hasn’t been easy. It’s been 4 years since I started this journey and sometimes I see myself frustrated, tired, confused or overwhelmed with all the changes this platforms has all the time. I think at the beginning it was “easier” to start building my audience than now maybe because I didn’t have the baby so I had extra time to put my effort on this but now I’m a mom, he’s my #1 priority and sometimes this difficulty the process of “growing” my audience in a organic way and engage more as I used to.
When I became a mom of course it was a challenge trying to balance my life but with time and help I think I’m getting there. You just have to really want it and everything will come into place. I PROMISE.
About the lesson’s I have learned, I can say “just be yourself”! Don’t compare with others and do not try to be someone you are not because people will like you for WHO YOU ARE and not for who you are trying to be. Is easier to be natural and people will connect with you better that way.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My uncle and my little cousins were here last weekend so I’ll give you the itinerary we did and add another places I love for “adults fun only”. I would take them first to “Las Olas Blvd” to have brunch in Louie Bossi’s restaurant and then spend the day at the beach. After that I would take them to Rocco’s Tacos to have dinner because I love their food and the margaritas are the best! Next day, I would take them to the Vizcaya Museum and Garden. I think it’s such a beautiful place and a great experience to share with the family and after then I’ll take them to the lighthouse in Key Biscayne and enjoy the area. Since my uncle came with my cousins, with were not able to do something just for “adults” but if I had the chance, I would take them to The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to enjoy the bar and play a little. Another place I love is “Sugar” rooftop. A chic bar in Brickell that I use to visit very often when I wasn’t a mom haha.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Definitely the biggest shoutout will be for my Dad. He showed us since we were little we can accomplish everything we want and everything we dream can be achieve if you work hard every day. The sky is the limit and no one can’t tell you “you can do that” because that is the magic phrase to make you “GO FOR IT!!! Also my twin sister. Even though we are apart now (she lives in Chile), she has always been my biggest support and always trusting in me and been there to push me harder.
