We had the good fortune of connecting with Enrique Acosta Gonzalez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Enrique, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process was to start something that I knew many people needed help in. It was also motivated by my increasingly lack of tolerance for poor leadership. I chose to invest my life into the development of leaders because it is what the workforce needs. They need leaders that are transformed, developed, invested, and engaged. There is no time for foolishness at the leadership level and our people deserve better from their leaders.

I also had a future employment opportunity in mind for Senior Enlisted Leaders of our Armed Forces once they separated or retired. It is an in-house Academy where companies could send their staff for an immersive leadership development experience.

What should our readers know about your business?
I believe that what sets me apart from others is that no one has my particular perspective. We are all unique and though I say “Im not everyone’s mission puzzle piece.” I do believe that I bring a heart centered and inner developmental approach to my practice. When you work with me, you truly are investing in yourself and your future.

I am most excited about the change I see daily in my clients. they speak about AHA’s and renewed outlooks and ways of seeing circumstances in their lives. this brings me joy and often to tears because I know, they will have a great life ahead as leaders and will bring years of joy to those that allow them to lead.

The road to where I am was not easy but I overcome the challenges by making sure that I was ready to lead others. I was I invested in self development and ensured I was right, mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Only then could I lead others to the proverbial leadership promise land.

The journey thus far has taught me many lessons but here are a few for the readers to consider: 1. Love yourself and give yourself grace, 2. All people need from you is love and a chance, give it to them. 3. Lead with the knowledge that it is a gift given to you by those that allow you to lead. 4. At the end of all things, you will not see anything you have been whining about, so just enjoy your life, it is short.

What I want people to know about my brand and story is that its intimate and it gets down into your mud. It will be messy but the result is amazing and you will thank me later. My story is but one of over eight billion currently today but it is unique. Who would have thought that a little boy from the mountains of Puerto Rico would travel the world, lead a company of over one thousand people, write seven books, get worldwide awards and have such a loving family at home and even more loving God to hold on to daily. I sure did not.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my friends were visiting me I would absolutely take them to the theme parks in Orlando, the beaches in South Florida, to eat my favorite latin foods and especially this time of year, to see the houses covered with Christmas lights. Sunrises and sets are amazing in Florida so anytime you can catch those, is a must. I would also include some of our famous Spanish Forts for little appreciation of our rich history.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
