Hi Erick, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
So I believe the key factor behind my success has been my consistency and willingness to keep learning. I’ve always been someone who shows up, gives 100%, and looks for ways to improve—even when things are going well. I also value teamwork and communication, which have helped me grow in collaborative environments and build strong relationships. I wouldn’t say it’s one single thing, but a combination of drive, discipline, and adaptability.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When I arrived in the United States, everything was new and uncertain—but my first job became the place where I learned one of the most important lessons of my life. I realized that if I wanted to reach the dreams I carry today, it would take not just hard work, but deep commitment, discipline, and a lot of heart. That experience taught me to bet on myself, even when the path was unclear, and to never let go of what I believed in. Today, I’m blessed to have a stable and meaningful job, where I truly feel like an essential part of something bigger. And I owe much of that to someone who guided me with patience, trust, and wisdom—my current boss, Manuel Arana. He didn’t just teach me how to run a business—he helped me believe in my own potential.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
So, I live in Miami, and My favorite place in Miami is the beach. There’s something profoundly healing about standing at the edge of the ocean—feeling the rhythm of the waves, the breeze brushing against my face, and watching the birds soar freely across the sky. It’s a moment where everything else fades, and I reconnect with a deep sense of inner peace. That space reminds me of how beautiful it is to pause, breathe, and just be present. And if there’s something that makes those moments even more meaningful, it’s sharing them with my family. They are one of the most important pillars of my life—their love and presence ground me, give me strength, and remind me of what truly matters.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely. There are several people I’m deeply grateful for. My family and my best friends have always been by my side, offering encouragement, strength, and unconditional support.
But if I had to highlight one person who truly marked my journey, it would be my grandfather. I remember his words clearly—“you will be great, as long as you believe in you.” That simple phrase carried so much weight. His belief in me gave me courage when I needed it most.
He saw potential in me before I fully saw it in myself, and his trust became one of my greatest motivations. In many ways, the person I’ve become—the way I work, the way I dream, the way I overcome challenges—is a reflection of the quiet strength and wisdom he passed on to me. His impact lives in everything I do.**
