Meet Eugen Bravo | Singer Songwriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Eugen Bravo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eugen, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Because of the need to express. To say something in a different way.
Writing songs is my language. It’s how I can tell others what is in my mind and what is in my heart.
Regardless if my songs are coming from a personal story or not, they will have always a piece of me.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am from Mexico, and came to the US when I was around 25 y/o.
Finally moved to Miami around 4 years ago to look for better and bigger opportunities in the music industry.
It is not easy to start in a new country and city without any friends and family, but you have to do what you have to do if you really want to reach something.
If you ask me what makes my music different is My lyrics.
I feel proud of them as I really try to connect with others, with emotions, the music and with a language that is easy to understand.
If you have not listen to my music yet, regardless if it is a romantic song or something to dance, please pay attention to the lyrics.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My top things are VERY clear!
– Lagniappe for a charcuterie+wine is a MUST!
– Picnic at ANY ocean view spot, I would advice you on South Point, South Beach.
– You can’t leave Miami without going to Calle 8 to listen/dance some Salsa music. Cafe La Trova is a good one, but honestly, I would walk around and walk-into the one where you feel the best vibe.
– I have 2 favorite ones for a beer+burger which is Duffy’s Sports Grill (North Miami Beach) and Monty’s Raw Bar (Coconut Groove)
Many more spots to go but at-least follow those!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
After reading the book “The Alchemist” from Paulo Coelho, I started to understand that a “dream” is a way of leaving, not just a destiny. I also started to believe in the universe signs and that we are capable to create things if we really wish to.
