We had the good fortune of connecting with Eunise Chery and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eunise, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The idea of starting my own business began when I observed my husband establish his first company in 2013. The thought of no longer having to work a “9 to 5” for someone else was extremely rewarding in itself. He found satisfaction in helping others and fulfilling a need in the community that many overlooked. I wanted the same satisfaction from helping others in need. As I began considering entrepreneurship, I realized that I was tired of exchanging my time for money. When you work for a “W-2” there are limits. Your income is limited, your time is limited, and your reach is limited. I desired to become financially free and to take off the limits. I took a leap of faith and turned my passion into a business/ministry. I love being an entrepreneur because I am known as a problem solver and that keeps me on my toes since I am constantly learning new things.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a Christian Life Coach, Speaker, and Educator my vision is to help Christian wives to find contentment and joy in the imperfections of married life. I have always been passionate about the institution of family and especially marriage. However, after going through a season where my marriage almost ended I was able to heal and reach a place in my life where I wanted nothing more than to help other women who were going through the same experiences. I am excited about the fact that I am now able to minister to so many women who find themselves struggling within their marriages and I can offer them hope and encouragement. My message to other wives is the solution that God has shown me in my personal breakthrough that produces my testimony. I am grateful to know that my testimony can bring healing and unity to others.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting me the first destination would be the Jungle Queen in Ft. Lauderdale. I love the sightseeing cruise that allows us to view Millionaire’s Row and the homes of the rich and famous. At the end of the cruise, we end up on a tropical island where there is an alligator show, exotic birds, monkeys, etc. My favorite part is holding the baby alligators for a photo op. The second destination would be Bayside Market Place in Miami, Bayside has great restaurants by the water, live music, and plenty of shopping. If you are visiting South Florida, the beach is always on the itinerary. I would definitely take her to visit Las Olas. I love the boardwalk in Ft. Lauderdale and the beaches are more family-oriented. There are plenty of places to eat that are located on the water with beautiful views of yachts in the ocean.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to first give a shoutout to my parents. They have always been supportive of my endeavors and I am the person that I am today because of them. Their belief in me is the backbone of my success in life. My biggest supporter and fan is my husband Lee. I would not be where I am today without him. I am a different woman now because of the way he loves and leads me. I desire to be successful in everything that I do to be a godly example to my kids. They are my biggest motivation because they deserve the very best. They keep me going and growing. Next, I want to give a shoutout to my best friend Ebonie Mukasa. She has been there to support me in this journey from the very beginning. Her wisdom and support over the years have helped me to push past obstacles that came my way and helped to guide me through this entrepreneurial adventure. I would also like to give a shoutout to Michele Holiday.  Michele has poured so much into me over the past year.  She has guided me through the process of developing and launching my business God’s way. Her wisdom has been invaluable. Last, but not least, I want to give a shoutout to my Pastor Arthur Jackson and my Keys To Life family. Their love and prayers have kept me focused and full of faith.
