We had the good fortune of connecting with Everton Gentles and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Everton, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
The reason i pursue an creative career is because i love telling stories in my own ways rather through videos or photos.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart is i try to mix all the different styles together to form my own, so a little motion spot here, CGI there, visual effects there. it wasnt easy because everyone saw me as a stepping stone where they use me to get where there are and didn’t turn back and give a helping hand, but i have met some real genuine people that believes in what im doing and helping me get there

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
if my best friend was to visit…

for food we are definitely going to A/C hotel the restaurant is very good and for drinks as well.
hang out spot will be at buzzers where would lazer tag maybe race.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are a few people who deserves the recognition as it regards to my career, firstly i have to shout out to my mom who believed in my dream and bought me my first camera, we have Andre Millwood who saw my potential and push my talents to places i never believed it could reach. Orville Matherson who saw the talent and mold it into what makes Everton an award nominated cinematographer.
