Meet Fabiola Malka | Founder of New Concept PR – Public Relations Agency

We had the good fortune of connecting with Fabiola Malka and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Fabiola, how do you think about risk?
Risk has been an integral part of my personal and professional journey. As a Peruvian-born, Chilean-Jewish individual with a background in economics and a passion for journalism and communications, I’ve always been drawn to challenging myself and stepping out of my comfort zone. My career path has been a testament to this, from writing for numerous media outlets in Peru to working on projects for the World Bank, USAID, and BID, and eventually becoming the writer for the Vice President of Peru.
When I decided to pursue an MBA in the US, it was a bold move, but one that I knew would open doors to new opportunities. I’ve always believed that growth happens outside of one’s comfort zone, and I’ve never been afraid to take the leap. In fact, I thrive under pressure and enjoy working with diverse professionals who push me to excel.
My approach to risk-taking is simple: I don’t look for Plan B. Instead, I focus on making Plan A work. This mindset has allowed me to navigate complex situations and emerge stronger. As the founder of New Concept PR, I’ve applied this same philosophy to help purpose-driven individuals and brands gain visibility and credibility in the Hispanic market.
Throughout my career, I’ve learned to view risk as a catalyst for growth, rather than a barrier. By embracing challenges and pushing myself to new heights, I’ve been able to build a successful career in public relations and make a meaningful impact in the industry.”

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
As the founder of New Concept PR, a multicultural communications, marketing, and public relations agency specializing in the US Hispanic market, I’m passionate about helping organizations, artists, brands, and public figures increase their exposure and reach their target audiences. With over 25 years of experience working with multinational companies, politicians, artists, and prestigious media outlets, I’ve developed a unique approach that combines strategic storytelling with purpose-driven communications.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with renowned organizations such as the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the United Nations, where I’ve applied my skills to drive economic development and social impact. I’ve also worked with The Humane Society of the United States, advocating for animal welfare and compassion, as well as with Fuente Latina.
In the entertainment industry, I’ve had the honor of working with notable celebrities and artists, such as Lis Vega, Luis Baboon Palomino, Nfasis, Ximena Córdoba, Daisy Fuentes, Fernando Allende, Julio Sabala, Cristina Eustace, Gaby Spanic, Celina y Filiberto “Ganas con Canas”, Tony Garza, Yomil y el Dany, Virginio, Carolina Tejera, Kerly Ruiz, Caterina Valentino, Adrián Di Monte, Sandra Itzel, and ICC, among others. Also working with visionary and leaders such as Gabriela Berrospi and Tony Delgado, founders of Latino WallStreet, Margarita Pasos, Gisela Rojas, Fernando Gonzalez, representative of Robert Kiyosaki for the Hispanic market, Josue Peña, Erika Rodriguez, among others. We’ve worked together on campaigns that have garnered international attention, including events like the Latin Grammys, Latin American Music Awards, Latín Billboards, Premio Lo Nuestro, Emmys. and also events in Mar a Lago.
My journey to where I am today hasn’t been easy. As an immigrant Latina, I’ve faced numerous challenges, but I’ve always been driven by my passion for storytelling and my commitment to making a difference. I’ve learned that success requires perseverance, creativity, and a willingness to take calculated risks. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the importance of building strong relationships and partnerships, which has enabled me to grow my business and expand my reach.
I’m proud of the work we’ve done, but I’m even more excited about what’s next. I’m committed to using my platform to amplify the voices of those who need to be heard, which is why I founded the initiative “PR with Purpose @prwpuroose.” This initiative aims to provide a voice for projects and individuals who are making a positive impact in their communities but lack the resources to share their stories.
I’m grateful for the recognition I’ve received, from City of Miami and Major Francis Suarez, including being named one of the “Successful High-Level Women” of 2021, Women who Break Barriers in 2025 and being featured in the book “Powerful Female Immigrants 2024,” which showcases my story as a successful Latina immigrant in the United States.
What sets New Concept PR apart is our integral approach, born from my experience working in different industries and navigating various worlds. I’m able to articulate and connect the dots between different sectors, driving outstanding results and contributing to the greater good. As a visionary with a global perspective, I’ve traveled the world, studied International Business, and keep myself learning constantly from diverse cultures. I’m fluent in three languages – Spanish, English, and Portuguese – which allows me to connect with a broad range of audiences and tailor our strategies to meet their unique needs.
This unique blend of experience, knowledge, and cultural understanding enables us to develop innovative solutions that drive real results. At New Concept PR, we’re not just a PR agency – we’re a team of passionate storytellers dedicated to making a difference. We’re committed to helping our clients achieve their goals, stand out with uniqueness, while also contributing to the greater good.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’m grateful for the opportunity to acknowledge the people and resources that have played a significant role in my journey. First and foremost, I want to dedicate a heartfelt shoutout to my parents, who have been my first and most influential mentors. They instilled in me the values of lifelong learning, curiosity, and the importance of carrying a powerful message. My father, with his exemplary work ethic and professional excellence, taught me the importance of striving for greatness in everything I do. My mother, with her creativity, energy, and positivity, showed me the value of approaching life with enthusiasm, passion and always looking to the bright side of things.
One book that has had a profound impact on my career as a Public Relations professional is “Getting to Yes: Negotiating Agreement Without Giving In” by Roger Fisher and William Ury. This seminal work, based on the research of the Harvard Negotiation Project, has been instrumental in shaping my approach to negotiation and conflict resolution. The authors’ concept of mutual-gains negotiation has been particularly influential, as it emphasizes the importance of finding strategies that benefit all parties involved. By applying the principles outlined in this book, I’ve been able to navigate complex situations and deliver exceptional results for my clients and the businesses I’ve worked with.
I’m grateful for the lessons I’ve learned from my parents and the insights I’ve gained from “Getting to Yes.”, and many other books I’ve learned. These have not only shaped me into the professional I am today but have also enabled me to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
