We had the good fortune of connecting with Fernanda Vieira and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Fernanda, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The moment I decided to start my own business was when I realized that to get the results I wanted was necessary to follow my feelings, intuition, and values and use all my past experiences to build my company and offer value to people’s life. In the beginning, I was a little bit afraid because I am an immigrant and my last company didn’t go well as I expected. However, I keep myself focused and confident to keep going and achieve my goals. My desire to be an Entrepreneur and do what I love was stronger than my fear. I surrendered myself to people that inspired me and helped me. I understood that you only fail if you give up. The secret is to be consistent and learned from your mistakes because every mistake means that you are closer to where you want to be. I made mistakes along the way, but I always tried to be better than I was yesterday, respect people around me and follow my truth.
In 2022 I opened GoOut Digital, LLC. It is a Social Media Agency where we help brands and small businesses to grow online and get noticed by increasing visibility and sales.  I see so many people who have so much talent and my main goal is to make them expand through digital marketing. We provide assistance from the scratch – branding, building social media channels, creating strategies, advertising, public relations, selling process, etc.
There’s nothing more special than seeing my clients happy, successful, and fulfilled with their businesses.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
First thing before starting my own business, I developed my self-knowledge. I asked myself: Who am I and what is my passion? I feel that we all have our mission and gift to give to the world. We just need to look inside ourselves. Get out of your comfort zone and patterns. Since we discover and understand our capabilities, character, feelings, or motivations we can start. Maybe in the middle of the way, we can change the direction, and that is normal! It happened to me so many times until and realized what I want to be as a professional. It is very important to have a goal and keep the focus on that, being consistent is the key. I believe that we all have a special gift and purpose. That’s one of the reasons I decided to start my Social Media Agency: to help people develop and expand their unique gifts, stories, and talents that can contribute to society. People are waiting for your idea, for something you want to create, or change that you want to make, product or service you have to offer. That can be a solution for someone or inspire people’s life. There’s nothing more special than seeing my clients happy and growing.
Last, and not less important, growing and being successful is hard work, and the entrepreneur journey can be exhausted. Please, remember to be aware of your mental health. We don’t have to work 24/7. Create a routine that has time to rest, exercise, enjoy quality time with your family and friends, and have fun, joy, and space away from your work so you can have something to bring back to it!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my friend to spend time at the beach – in Sunny Island, than have lunch at Casa Tua restaurant. Afternoon walking around Art Deco District. In the evening have some drinks at Socialista and have dinner at Faena.

I would love to mention some friends who are close to me and supporting me since I started this journey. They are Caroline Solanas, Synda Machalani, Mariane Sakay, and Marcelle Ribeiro. I am lucky to have these people by my side.
