We had the good fortune of connecting with Florencia Cirigliano and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Florencia, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. My upbringing is a big part of who I am – I proudly embrace my culture in both my personal and professional lives.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the Vice President of Marketing and Sales for RedCoach, a luxury motorcoach company based in Orlando. We believe that everyone should have access to luxury travel accommodations, especially in a time where travel costs are skyrocketing. Growing up in Argentina, bus travel was and still is the most common form of transport, and our goal was to bring that concept to life in the states.

RedCoach launched a little over 12 years ago and at that time, luxury bus transport was not a very popular concept in the United States. Now, RedCoach services 16 major cities in Florida and 6 major cities in Texas, with more to come.

We chose to bring some of my favorite elements of bus travel including comfortable seats, affordability, environmental benefit, and flexible accommodations. In recent years, these things have become even more relevant due to the pandemic, rising gas prices, and the impact of inflation on families.

It was difficult to make people understand the value of bus travel at first, but now travelers are seeking creative solutions. I am confident that there will only be more opportunities to bring bus travel out into the light in the coming years as travelers seek alternatives.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are many different things to do in Miami, which is part of why I love living here and having friends come to visit. It depends on the mood and time of year, but you can’t go wrong with a sunset boat ride. The water is spectacular and paired with the downtown skyline, it’s truly breathtaking.

I also love to ride bikes to South Pointe Park Pier or stop by The Deck at Island Gardens for the whole package. You can drink, eat, dance, and take in amazing views. When I’m with friends, I always like to entertain and enjoy the city.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I moved to the United States from Argentina over twelve years ago to bring the concept of Latin American bus travel to the states. I did so with the support and encouragement of my family, who are also in the travel and tourism business. Without a doubt, I want to dedicate this shoutout to my family members, especially my grandfather who taught me all about hard work and built his company from the ground up. It’s like a full circle. He came to Argentina from Italy after the Second World War and then I emigrated from Argentina to the states.
