Meet Fradel Barber | Founder & CEO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Fradel Barber and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Fradel, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I knew I wanted more. I wanted control over my life, my time, and my money. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, the oldest of 12 kids, we didn’t have much—and I didn’t want to repeat that cycle. At the time, I was 20, going to school for graphic design, just looking for a way to make money. I took a random interview in the financial industry, and it completely changed everything. I ended up leaving school and going all in.
As I got more experience in the industry, I saw this big gap for what I call “the forgotten middle”—the people our industry tends to overlook. There was education in one place, products in another—but no one was really helping people connect the dots and apply what they learned to real life. That bugged me.
So starting The World Changers was about fixing that. I wanted to build something that didn’t just teach people about money but actually helped them take real steps to use that knowledge and change their finances—and their future. And I wanted to create a platform so that people who are passionate about that mission could build a career around meeting that need.

What should our readers know about your business?
I started The World Changers after being in the financial industry for over 20 years. I had built a successful business, helped thousands of clients, and trained hundreds of professionals—but something was missing. I kept seeing the same pattern over and over again: people were learning about money, but not actually changing their finances. Either the education was too generic, or they didn’t know how to apply it to their life. On the flip side, people had access to financial products—but no real guidance to help them understand how those tools fit into their bigger picture.
That’s where the idea for The World Changers came in. I wanted to build something that didn’t stop at education, and didn’t stop at access—but bridged the two. I wanted people to not just know better, but actually do better with their money. And I wanted to build it in a way that served the people the industry tends to overlook—what I call “the forgotten middle.” These are the professionals, families, and small business owners who make too much for government aid but not enough to get personal advice from high-end financial firms. Most of them are just trying to figure things out on their own—and that’s who we’re here for.
What makes me proudest is that we built this company based on values. There’s no bait-and-switch. No pressure sales. We lead with education, we focus on impact, and we serve with integrity. It’s not just about building a profitable company—it’s about doing it the right way.
Getting here wasn’t easy. I left a comfortable, successful business behind to start over with nothing but a vision and a lot of belief. There were plenty of days where I questioned everything. But I kept going because I wanted to show my kids—Gabriel, Arielle, Daniel, and Rafael—what’s possible. I wanted them to see their mom build something that mattered. I wanted them to learn that dreams take sacrifice, and that belief and action go hand-in-hand.
That’s also one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned: belief is everything. And I don’t just mean blind faith—I mean building belief. Whether that’s saying affirmations, getting around mentors, or looking yourself in the mirror and saying, “I’ve got this,” belief is something you create, not something you wait for.
The second big lesson is to stay aligned with your values. There are a lot of people in this industry just chasing fast money. But when your work lines up with who you are, you don’t burn out the same way. You can show up—even on the hard days—because you know it matters.
And the third is: your associations matter. People love to say “your network is your net worth,” but it’s not just about who you know—it’s about who’s influencing you. Who’s in your ear? Who’s telling you you can do it—or making you feel like you can’t?
I want people to know that The World Changers isn’t just another financial company. We’re here to help people understand money, take action, and actually build a better future. Whether that means getting out of debt, saving for retirement, protecting your family, or starting a business—we make it simple, clear, and real. We meet people where they are, and we help them move forward.
And for the people who believe in this mission and want to be part of it—we built a platform where they can build a career that aligns with their values too.
And we’re just getting started.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting Miami, we’d definitely make it a mix of amazing food, wine, rooftops, and relaxing—but with a little chaos thanks to my kids. I love trying new restaurants, especially the high-end spots that keep popping up in Brickell, the Design District, and Wynwood. Miami’s food scene is always evolving, so there’s always something new and exciting to check out.
We’d probably start with dinner at one of my favorite new spots—somewhere with an incredible wine list, great ambiance, and dishes that look like art. I love places where the vibe is just right, the food comes out on time and hot and the service is impeccable—not always so easy to find.
During the day, we’d find a great coffee shop with outdoor seating, and just sit and talk. I’m all about places with good energy and good people-watching. I’d also plan a rooftop dinner one night—somewhere with city or water views and the kind of music and lighting that just makes you want to stay all night.
But honestly? One of my favorite things to do is just have people over at our place. Our house is perfect for it. The kids go wild—there’s a zipline, trampoline, huge pool, batting cage, basketball hoop, and a fire pit. It’s big enough that the kids can be kids while the adults have wine, sit around, and actually have full conversations. Those nights are always some of my favorites—easy, fun, and filled with laughter.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
If I had to give a shoutout, it would 100% be to my team at The World Changers. None of this would exist without them. They’ve believed in the vision from the beginning—even when it was just an idea, even when things were hard, even when it would’ve been easier to take a safer path.
Some of them followed me from a previous company, some found us through social media or client referrals, but every single one brought something special. This isn’t a solo mission. We’re building something big together, and what I love most is that everyone on this team leads with heart. They’re not just in it for a paycheck—they care about people, about doing the right thing, about making real impact.
They’ve taken ownership of the mission, brought their own ideas to the table, and helped shape this company into what it is. And they show up—not just when it’s fun and exciting—but when it’s messy, uncertain, and uncomfortable. That’s real dedication. That’s what keeps this thing moving.
So yeah, this is a team win. Always has been, always will be.
