We had the good fortune of connecting with Frank GSZ and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Frank GSZ, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Well, being a Latin Artist making Latin urban music there is not too much things to think, but to feel. What I can tell is that I realized that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life since I was 13 years old.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am an urban music singer, composer, and producer in the Latin market. Coming from Cuba, I have that SABOR from the island and which I put into every project I’m involved in. My genres? Reggaeton, Cubaton, Reparto Cubano, R&B, Salsa and some more. One of the things I am most proud of is the fact of I am the creator, composer, producer, and interpreter of all of my projects, and sometimes my own designer too, jaja, although I have learned that you need a dream team to get to perfection in this Industry. I hat to learn as much as I could about Music industry because I didn’t have the money to pay for the team. And that make me need a lot of people in the business net work with them and get to where I am today.
Being humble, listening before speaking, not to take it personal, and not to worry when struggling because god always provides.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are some place in Miami that a friend of mine really has to go when visiting us. For dinner and an amazing food, let’s go to BUNBURY, Miami, an Argentinian restaurant with the best meet in town. Do you want some sweets? Let’s go to the salty donut, in the heart of Wynwood, I love that place. Let’s go party, live is the best nightclub in the world, you can enjoy for a cheap price the biggest artists in the world.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There were a lot of people who taught me a lot about Music and The Music Industry, but no one like “Carlitos” that old man, friend of my family who one sweet day showed me the Law Of Attraction, that thing I believe in with all my conviction, and what gave me the positive thinking to achieve everything I have today, including my family, my music career and all important people in my life.
