We had the good fortune of connecting with Frantz Casimir and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Frantz, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
To own my own business was something that I always dreamed of, But the thought of starting my own business was an entirely different. I knew it was going to require a lot of work and many steps to finalize the process. I wanted the name of the business to be the embodiment of what it is that I was shooting…Something Unique but not foreign, I then cross checked the availability of the name to ensure zero roadblocks. I made a decision to polish this Trade/Passion/Art to best of my capabilities in order to ensure a prosperous future.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The art is truly special to me. I used to think it was all about the photo manipulation while editing an image, or the Smooth dreamy blur you get in the background when a beautiful person is photographed or even the many angles or perspectives you can choose to take a photo in. My views started change a bit throughout this journey and I realized that each photo was so much more than that but also so so so much simpler than that in the same breath. I realized that I was documenting history in visual form. I was freezing what may go by noticed by the average person… and that was time. for 1/150th of a second, I can capture any visual of my choosing and its forever mine. that blew my mind. Ive learned so many lessons throughout this journey. Staying in my own lane and not the next person’s was huge. Ive learned that If I cannot see the change/growth in others, then perhaps it’s me that needs a little change. Inspect what I expect so that success may be predictable but most of all put God in all of it!!! I want the world to see and know the family man that I am, but also how seriously I take my craft. Im a lover of God, people, Art food, travel , movies, the list goes on and on. .

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If a best friend came to visit, there would be a few things lined up. Im huge on relaxing so we would start off the week with favorite places to eat that serves Caribbean foods, wings, sweet potato fries, and pasta. I would make sure to establish publix as the go to store for fresh fruit (watermelon + Grapes). We would spend the next couple of days playing basketball, watching youtube videos, visiting mutual friends in the area as well as occasional mimosas for inspiration. We would dive into some photography whether its editing or shooting and possibly come along on a client shoot or event. We would cap off the week with ether church or family event.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My story is a testament to how great God is. To know him is a blessing, My testament immediately is followed by the love and admiration I have for my Parents, Siblings, and my Beautiful Fiance. The blessings overflowed with a solid core of Fraternity brothers shoutout to the (SIg O Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity Incorporated) and shoutout to (the Ice Cold Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated UT Chapter of FAU) , Friends from FAU, as well as loyal friends and family from all over. I don’t believe Ive come close to where I want to be just yet, but I am certain that with this amazing supporting cast, I have choice but to go upward and onward.
