We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabby Richardson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabby, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
My willingness to take risks has always proven to be a step in the right direction, allowing me the opportunity to explore all possibilities around me that could lead to projected growth and success. I believe that by taking risks I have the ability to open doors for myself and my craft.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I own a 100% gluten free bakery called Gabby’s Gluten Free Goodies! Of course starting the business was a dream of mine ever since being diagnosed with a gluten allergy. However, during COVID, my dream became something I needed to do to help my family get by. I was pregnant, hungry and on the verge of losing my job when I finally decided to take the leap and open up my bakery. I started in my kitchen, baking as much as I could to get my name out there. Of course people will always have the hesitancy when it comes to trying gluten free foods, heck, I know that a lot of them don’t taste good at all! But once people tried my baked Goodies they became hooked. They would tell me “ No way… These are Gluten Free?” With a huge smile on their face. A huge lesson I’ve learned from all of this is, if you love something, go for it! Take the risk, it’s worth it. I want the world to know that even at your lowest you are called upon what you are meant to give to this world. Follow your gut because if you ever feel like everything is collapsing around you, there is a brighter tomorrow. I want Gabby’s Gluten Free Goodies to be known as the most delicious gluten free dessert and that it is made with lots of love! Always smiling and ready to make your dessert dreams come true. – Love,
Gabby ♥️

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to dedicate my shoutout to Eric Richardson (My Husband). He has been my anchor, my support system, and my partner since the beginning. Without him and our brainstorming sessions, Gabby’s Gluten Free Goodies would not be around today.

I’d also like to thank my family (would love to list them all but it’s a lengthy list!) and friends for being my taste testers in the beginning (and currently)They were the extra nudge that led me to pursue my dreams further.

Lastly, I would like to thank Gus & Jean for their belief in me. In addition to everyone mentioned above, they can see my vision and want to help me grow so that the whole world can get a taste of my baked Goodies.

I love you all. Thank you so much for this beautiful and blessed Journey.
