Meet Gabriel Russo | Founder & CEO of Madclub Media

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabriel Russo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gabriel, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk-taking has been a huge part of my journey, both in life and in business. I’ve learned that calculated risks are necessary for growth.
When I think about risk, I don’t see it as recklessness. It’s about weighing the potential upside against the downside and making an informed decision. Every big move I’ve made, deciding to build my own business, saying yes to things I know would challenge me came with uncertainty. But each time, I trusted that even if it didn’t go perfectly, I’d gain something valuable.
Taking risks has allowed me to excel, thrive, and build something meaningful. The biggest breakthroughs in my career didn’t come from playing it safe; they came from betting on myself, my team, and my vision.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Madclub Media is a boutique content focused creative agency. We specialize in video branded content, DTC photo and video for social and web, and storytelling-driven brand videos. We also help develop content strategies and execute them for our clients. What sets us apart is our intentional approach—we don’t just create content; we help businesses tell stories that connect with their audience but that also drive results.
I’m most proud of the relationships we’ve built and the trust our clients place in us. We’ve worked with big brands across the country, but what excites me the most is supporting local businesses in Miami and helping them grow through high-quality, strategic content. Seeing our work drive real results for our clients—whether it’s increasing brand awareness, boosting sales, or elevating their presence—is incredibly rewarding.
Getting here wasn’t easy. Building a business from the ground up requires persistence, adaptability, and a willingness to take risks. There were moments of uncertainty, especially in the beginning—figuring out how to get consistent clients, refining our services, and balancing creativity with business strategy. We overcame those challenges by staying focused on our long-term vision, constantly improving our craft, and treating every project like it was our most important one.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned are that relationships are everything. Clients don’t just buy a service, they buy trust and expertise. Consistency beats perfection—showing up and delivering quality work over time builds momentum. And lastly, growth comes from stepping outside of your comfort zone—whether it’s investing in better systems, hiring help, or taking on bigger projects that stretch your capabilities.
At the core of Madclub Media is a passion for storytelling and a belief that great content has the power to transform businesses. I want the world to know that we’re not just another agency, we’re a creative partner dedicated to helping businesses thrive through powerful visual storytelling.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Food is definitely the top priority, my wife and I love to try new spots in the city. Some of my favorite are Finka table and Tap in West Kendall, Sushi Garage in Coconut Grove and as a Brazilian I would definitely take anyone to Fogo De Chao in Coral Gables. I am a big coffee guy as well so finding great coffee is a must. I have a few spots I love but Im frequently going to Macondo in Kendall.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to shoutout my parents for not only engraining the entrepreneurial spirit in me from a young age but for also giving me the freedom and space to make my own mistakes along the way. I also need to recognize my beautiful wife for being my rock. No matter the day or the circumstance, she has always been there to support me and encourage me.
