We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabriella Pellot and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabriella, how do you think about risk?
Risk-taking is a decision made at least once during everyone’s lifetime. Whether you’re risking your time or money, it’s inevitable to avoid. As an entrepreneur, risk-taking was just that 1% of the unknown that comes along with the journey. As Wayne Gretzky said, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take,” and that’s stuck with me through this entire journey. If you don’t take the chance, nothing will change. Risk-taking is the variable in the equation of entrepreneurship; you just can’t work around. So how do I think about risk? I think it’s unavoidable. Taking risks means a lot to me personally as well, because I see people every day choose to stick with what’s comfortable, and never change, and that scares me because when you seek discomfort, when you take that risk and it works out… that’s when growth happens. You never know unless you try, and what happens if you try and it all works out? So that has been my mindset and motto towards risk-taking. It has played a huge role in my life and my career. And it wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows; at times, I took the risk, and it didn’t work out. But I never viewed a loss as a loss; it was always a lesson/ learning experience. So risk has taught me to accept the outcome, to embrace the failures. And when it does work out, it teaches you to keep going because then you realize that anything is possible.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The title to define my life and career would be an aspiring entrepreneur and creative.

I am currently a social media strategist and have my own company, Lucky Cat Marketing, and I have passion projects on the side that I am working on, such as building a natural fiber activewear brand. I have been working in digital marketing for about 5 years now, and about 3 years ago, I started honing in on social media as I’ve discovered how powerful it is for businesses. I’ve always had that entrepreneurship spirit inside of me, and have always wanted to do my own thing on my own time. I always had an alternative way of doing things, outside the corporate status quo, when it came to work, and being under someone’s instruction would interfere with that and end up causing a clash. Being honest, I like doing things the way I want to do things, and nobody can tell me different unless they are 10x more successful than I am. But even with that, I will always remain true to myself. So, about 2 years ago is when I started Lucky Cat Marketing and connected with all types of businesses to create content strategies for them that gave their brand a voice. My passion was helping businesses grow through the power of social media, because I saw how effective it was and how amazing it could be. especially for businesses that align with my interests, hobbies, and passions. So anyways, I’ve always been a sucker for good marketing, and one day the question of “why am I choosing this brand over this brand” sprang to me. And the answer was marketing. their message behind the product/service, the way they presented themselves… it appealed to me. So that’s how I got into marketing, and it’s the why behind going into that career. Flash forward to about a year ago, I’ve been thinking to myself, “if I can do this for other brands, why can’t I do this for my own?”. I started to lean more into my passions (health and wellness) and use my skills to create something of my own. And that’s what led me to start a natural fiber activewear business coming spring 2026.

What I am most proud of is my willingness to continue and stay disciplined through the peaks and valleys of business. losing money, issues, ideas that never worked out, I could have easily quit. But no, because the only way you fail is if you quit. And that was never in my vocabulary.

What I’m most excited about is the journey and what’s yet to come. Although the unknown is scary, there’s beauty in it, and I’m just embracing the process. I would like to remind people to follow their dreams, to follow their passions, because life’s too short for you to be doing something you don’t enjoy. Life is a gift, so make the most out of the one you get.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in South Florida, so I would take them to our beautiful beaches. I’m also a huge foodie, and there are tons of places down here. So a beach day, with a nice, healthy lunch, and a delicious dinner would be on the menu. I love nature walks and outdoor activities, so a trail park or paddleboarding would be on the to-do list as well.

These would have to be the best things to do and places to check out!

Restaurants: FOGO De Chao, Komodo, or any cool/funky restaurant downtown Miami or Fort Lauderdale.
Beaches: Miami Beach or Fort Lauderdale.

Also, the Florida freshwater springs are a must-visit. Rainbows Springs, Rock Springs, Blue Springs. So if we’re talking a day trip up north, we could take the Brightline to Orlando and go to a theme park.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to recognize my mother and my partner, Kevin Consuegra, for motivating me and reminding me every day that anything is possible as long as you put your mind to it and work hard.
