Meet Gaurisha Khosla | Founder of Gold Karat Styling

We had the good fortune of connecting with entrepreneur and fashion marketing expert, Gaurisha Khosla and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gaurisha, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my business is passion. I have always been immensely passionate about fashion and helping people; combine those two and you have Gold Karat Styling. I love that style can boost someone’s confidence. The smile on a client’s face when an outfit I put together makes them glow from within is what makes this business so rewarding.

What should our readers know about your business?
Gold Karat Styling is a personal styling business dedicated to helping you look and feel your best. We offer a variety of services to suit your needs, whether you are looking for a complete wardrobe makeover or just some style advice. We will work with you to understand your unique style and then help you find the clothes, shoes, and accessory products that will make you fall in love with your reflection in the mirror. Aside from travel style consultations, special occasion styling, and general style consultations- what sets us aside is the “Shop Box” we offer. Upon purchase of a Shop box, we will conduct a complimentary consultation. This consists of a careful assessment of your aesthetic, body type, personality, and style goals. We will then curate a personalized “Shop Box” with products that will help you achieve those style goals. This product was inspired by numerous people telling me online or mall shopping overwhelms them and they don’t know where to begin!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love this question! We would start with brunch at Little Hen in Midtown (10/10 recommend the Rose Petal Pancakes), make our way to Design District for some shopping, stop by Aubi & Ramsa for some alcohol infused ice cream (the perfect way to combat this Miami heat), then head over to Swan for lunch (a personal favorite spot). After lunch, we will go to Joia Beach to enjoy the ocean view while sipping on drinks and waiting for the sun to set. Afterwards, we will head to Komodo for dinner and have the absolute BEST sushi in town and then end our night dancing at Komodo Lounge.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family and friends are truly my biggest blessing. I wake up every day so grateful to be surrounded by the most genuine, intelligent, and supportive people. My family and friends have supported my business from the moment it was merely an idea and every step along the way- I am so lucky! I would however, like to dedicate this Shoutout to my grandmother who recently passed. My Dadi (Hindi for grandma) always motivated me and truly made me believe I can reach for the stars, so I’m going to continue to do just that in her honor.
