Meet GEOVONNIEx | Music Artist | Creative Curator

We had the good fortune of connecting with GEOVONNIEx and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi GEOVONNIEx, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
I had to learn not to spread myself too thin. After years in the industry, I found myself diving headfirst into all kinds of projects; some that didn’t align with my vision, brand, or aesthetic at all. At the time, I thought saying “yes” to everything was the key to growth, but I eventually realized it was actually holding me back.
Over time, I learned to be more selective. I started filtering out what and who I gave my energy to, making sure it matched the level I’m currently at or the higher level I’m striving toward. Matching your work with your current or elevated self is so important. It helps you stay aligned and keep your peace.
I once came across a quote that said, “It takes the same time to make $10 as it does to make $1 million.” That hit me. To me, it means time is valuable, and you shouldn’t waste it on projects that don’t serve you, grow you, or elevate you. Instead, invest your time into people and opportunities that recognize your value and reflect where you’re headed.
So how has my work-life balance changed? It changed when I stopped overloading myself with things that weren’t helping me grow. I took unnecessary things off my plate so I could focus more on what truly matters; my purpose, my peace, and my higher self.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m proud of where I stand today, but I also know I’m nowhere near the peak. This is just a key part of the climb. I’ve been in music and the creative field for over a decade, and the journey has shaped me far beyond the studio. It’s taught me about mindset, purpose, faith, and my connection to something higher. I don’t think I’d know myself the way I do now if I hadn’t chosen this path.
But let me be real, it hasn’t been easy. This road doesn’t come with instructions or guarantees. It demands constant faith: in God, in your gift, and in your ability to keep going even when things are uncertain. It’s a test of endurance. How long can you hold the vision? How deeply do you believe in it, especially when nobody else sees it yet?
What sets my work apart is its foundation. Everything I create now; whether it’s music, visuals, or brand work—is rooted in light, growth, and spiritual alignment. I’m not chasing moments; I’m building movement. My music is cinematic, emotional, raw, and inspiring. I call it Tality, because it represents something beyond duality, beyond ego, beyond the surface. It’s the real; the essence that lives underneath everything. My art is for people who feel that depth and are ready to reconnect with it.
There was a time when I said yes to everything; every opportunity, every collaboration, just to feel like I was moving forward. But eventually I realized that just being “busy” wasn’t the same as being aligned. Now I’m intentional about what I create and who I connect with. I’ve filtered out the noise so I can focus on what truly reflects my higher self and long-term purpose.
I also run a creative brand called NVR 2 L8 , which is all about helping others rebrand their lives and unlock their next level. It’s built on the belief that no matter where you come from or what you’ve been through, it’s never too late to become who you were always meant to be. That message lives in everything I do.
What I want the world to know is this: I’m not just here to be seen, I’m here to reflect something real. If I stopped now, I’d regret it for the rest of my life. I can’t leave this earth with the vision still inside me. I’ve seen too much, grown too much, and come too far to turn back. My art is my legacy; and I’m just getting started.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
That’s a loaded question—Miami has so many layers and vibes. Honestly, some of my favorite spots are the kind you don’t really broadcast… they’re private, members-only, or just sacred to the experience, so I like to keep them lowkey for the people who really know. But I will say this—a private yacht is definitely on the list. There’s nothing like cruising on the water with the city skyline behind you, good energy around you, and the sun setting in the distance.
Overall we’d be at the right place and the right time with the right people, not just in some random club listening to music we don’t even like

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d really like to s/o to God. So many lesson he’s showing me through my life and aligning me with my higher self. I also want to s/o my daughter, because she’s changed my life in ways that I can’t even explain.
Lastly I want everyone to read a book called “The Power of Awareness”. You’ll thank me later.
