We had the good fortune of connecting with Gianfranco Berardinelli and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gianfranco, what do you attribute your success to?
I believe the most important factor for my success has been discipline. Most people just see the top of the iceberg, but very little deep dive into and see how big they are inside the water. Success appreciation is really easy to look and judge.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Everything I´ve done in my career allowed me to learn and use special tools during the process. From being a fashion editor, stylist, writer, tv host -all in fashion- to even being the VP of an Italian luxury company. It´s been a journey, considering that I started working at an early age- 16- so Im really thankful with life because even during the hard times has thought so much… the importante is to know how to learn the lessons and surf the wave.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them shopping at Luis Morais store in Sunset Harbour – best hidden gem in town for jewelry, art and fragrances-. We will go out for dinner at the Surfside Hotel, both restaurantes are great and the environment is the best. Breakfast will be 100% Caracas Bakery and then I will stop for a protein shake at Pura Vida. For Lunch I´d do something like Mr. C in Coconut Groove. For a drink Im a classic local so I will go to Michael´s and keep going to Faena.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would always be thankful to my former Editor in Chief, Roland Carreno, for over a decade work and friendship he thought me not only as a professional but a human being.
