We had the good fortune of connecting with Gina Bebawey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gina, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was working at a sports orthopedic outpatient facility where I was learning a lot and gradually taking on more responsibility. I was running most of the day-to-day; treating patients, managing the schedule, and staying involved behind the scenes. And while I was gaining great experience, I always knew I wanted to have my own clinic one day, it had been a goal of mine for a long time. Eventually, it just clicked that I was already doing so much of what it takes to run a practice, just without my name on the door. That’s when I decided it was time to take the leap, but do it with intention. I wanted to create a space where I could treat patients the way I believe is best, without limitations, and really build something that reflects my values and vision for care.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Victory Physical Therapy is a space I created with a clear mission: to provide personalized, one-on-one care with a strong focus on quality, not quantity. As a physical therapist, I specialize in sports injuries, orthopedic rehab, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain. I am certified in dry needling and trained in a variety of hands-on manual therapy techniques. What really sets my practice apart is the individualized attention each patient receives. I don’t rush appointments or double-book. I believe every person deserves the time, care, and focus needed to truly heal.

Getting to where I am today definitely wasn’t easy. Starting a business comes with a lot of challenges, financial risks, learning the ins and outs of running a clinic, and finding the confidence to go out on my own. But I leaned on my experience, my passion for helping people, and the support of my family to push through those tough moments. I had been managing most of the day-to-day operations at my previous clinic, so I knew I had the skills, I just needed to take the leap.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that staying true to your values matters. There are easier ways to do business, but I wanted to build something meaningful. I wanted to create a place where people feel heard, cared for, and genuinely supported, not just physically, but as a whole person.

What I want people to know about Victory Physical Therapy is that it’s built on heart, hard work, and a deep commitment to helping people move better and feel better. This clinic isn’t just a business, it’s a reflection of everything I believe in as a therapist and as a person.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting Boca Raton, I’d definitely want to give them the full experience, great food, beautiful beaches, and a few hidden gems that only locals really know about. We’d absolutely spend time at the beach or go out for a boat day soaking up the sun.

When it comes to food, Boca has so many amazing spots. We’d go to The Seed or Another Broken Egg for breakfast, and Raw Juce or Farmer’s Table if we’re in the mood for something lighter and fresh for lunch. For dinner, I’d definitely take them to Louie Bossi’s for great Italian with a lively atmosphere. And if we’re feeling a little fancy, Meat Market or Casa D’Angelo never disappoints.

We’d also spend some time in Mizner Park, shopping, maybe visiting the Boca Raton Museum of Art, then grab drinks at Deck 84 right on the water. And if we wanted to venture out a bit, a quick trip to Delray Beach would be on the list, Atlantic Avenue is always buzzing with good energy, great restaurants, and live music.

Honestly, Boca’s got the best mix of relaxation, fun, and great local spots. Whether we’re lounging by the water, grabbing incredible meals, or just catching up over coffee, there’s always something to enjoy. It’s the kind of place that makes it really easy to slow down and just appreciate the moment.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are several people who have played a significant role in my journey, and I’m incredibly grateful for the love, encouragement, and support I’ve received along the way. First and foremost, my husband has been my biggest supporter, always encouraging me, pushing me to grow, and believing in me even when I had doubts. He challenged me to pursue this dream fully, and I truly couldn’t have done it without him.

I also want to dedicate a huge part of this to my late father, who was a physical therapist and a major inspiration for me. I named my clinic in his honor, and everything I do is rooted in the values he passed down to me, compassion, hard work, and a deep commitment to helping others heal.

My mother, my brother, and the rest of my family have also been incredibly supportive throughout this journey. From cheering me on to helping behind the scenes, they’ve shown up for me in every possible way. I’m so thankful to have such a strong and loving support system, it’s made all the difference.
