We had the good fortune of connecting with Giorgio Casu and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Giorgio, why did you pursue a creative career?
Creative minds don’t have many choices in order to be happy and fulfilled. As an artist, I create art just because I cannot live without it. I would paint or create even if it wasn’t my job. The difference between who does art as a job and those who have to do it just as a hobby or passion is the perseverance and obviously their own talent.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I m excited about the process of making, so either for murals or a painting or on canvas or design, the spark is always the first idea. It generates a force, a powerful driven force that takes you to the process of making it happen. every project is a problem to solve, the search for a formulate the response to the need for fulfilling the problem. The answers come in different ways, sometimes is magical, sometimes they just feel like the right thing to do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
