We had the good fortune of connecting with Giselle Chusan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Giselle, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I am in the business of making other businesses more money. When I first started creating content I did not know the amount of impact one video on social media could make for a business. I have had the opportunity to double and even triple sales at many local restaurants across South Florida. Not only am I helping others explore a spot they may have never known existed, but I am also helping these business get more new customers.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a food and travel content creator. I started my page right when COVID was taking over the world. These past two years my main focus has been food because of travel restrictions, but now I am expanding more into the world of travel. The reason I started creating content was because I have been to 23 countries and I wanted to bring others along on that journey so now that I have a platform I want to make my dream come true which is to show others a world they never knew existed.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I grew up in West Palm Beach so I would spend a day in where I am most familiar.

Breakfast: Howley’s which is a retro diner that serves amazing food all day long

Activites: Beach day at the Island

Lunch: Buccans Sandwich Shop which has the best carpaccio sandwich

Dinner: Casa Del Mofongo which is a hidden gem that serves Dominican food

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this shoutout to my community of followers who are the ones that have made this possible. The other person that deserves the most credit is my Mom. She has been on this journey with me since the beginning. A lot of my followers know she comes with me to the shoots but she has literally given me her time and has helped me with 99% of the videos I have shot. She is so patient with me and being able to spend time with her doing something we both love (eating and traveling) is just insane.     1
